That almost ¼" of HD construction. Years of life still in this pot. Lots of scratches& heavy pitting in bottom. Blackening remains in pitting. See photos. Only SOS pads& wire brush wheel were to clean the pot. I found on the web to use backing soda& vinegar boiled to remove blackening from bottom of Aluminum.
