The plotter had a series of printhead clog issues and a BAD LCD. We would have attempted an initialization through the plotter. But we were navigating blindly without the use of the LCD. For security purposes. We removed the 3.2GB hard drive which was initially installed on the unit, degassed it for security purposes, then replaced it with a wiped, 20GB, 4200RPM 2.5-Inch HDD. This new drive does NOT have firmware installed on it and that is how we are selling it. These are fairly simple to flash once installed into the plotter so long as it's hooked up to a network or via USB.
