Encad wide format printer Novajet Pro 60e 60" color inkjet NEEDS WORK
This printer has been abused and damaged while moving from State to State. It was last operational some time in 2008. And I was unable to get the black ink to prime, so it printed until the ink head itself ran out of ink and was not being refilled from the larger reservoir. Since that time. It has experienced some damage in transit. the print area cover had an item fall on it, causing the little plastic tabs to break. This will be an easy fix and the damage is minimal. In addition, the plastic housing was damaged on the side of the unit(see photo) Other than this. I have not inspected or tested the machine any further. You should expect, at minimum, to have to clean out the ink system and print heads thoroughly and use new ink, and possibly new print heads. Also included is the priming tool. Up for bidding is a copy of Microspot X-Rip 1.6 with the hardware key and manual. I used this to drive an HP DesignJet 2000CP and it worked flawlessly. It maximized the printing quality and minimized the printing time. It has a great user interface that makes the large format plotting much easier. Does not require postscript so you can purchase a less expensive non-postscript plotter. I no longer have the plotter and therefore no longer need this.
