The limousine of bicycles, it gives you the smoothest, most comfortable ride you've ever had. It's quality features include a comfortable Brooks leather saddle, wide ration Sturmey-Archer gears for easier uphill riding and unique rod brakes for safe dependable stops. This bicycle is the 24" frame size for you ... moretaller riders out there and is pretty good shape although not completely original. This bicycle was hand made in Nottingham England is a fine example of British steel. The paint is in pretty good shape, unfortunately not all the parts are original or present. The most prominently missing bit it the Tourist Dl-1 chain guard. Outside of that it's mostly some off-spec parts, these include the non-drive side rear hub bolt which is a drive side hub chain pulley style and an Olympic 75 leather springer saddle as apposed to the stock Brooks saddle. Up for auction is a Fabulous Antique Black Americana Folk Art Pillow measuring 24X17. This pillow is hand embroidered. It is dated in one corner June 24 and the other corner 1915. The Inscription says: By a bale of Cotton" It has a double meaning because it can mean the little black children are. Standing by the bale of cotton, or the meaning can be, the old saying, Buy" a bale of cotton. The scene on this unique hand sewn pillow depicts a little balck boy in blue coveralls leaning over the bale of cotton with both of his arms around the little girl's neck. Kissing her. The black girl has pink bows in her pigtails that are all over her head. She has on a yellow dress with pink polka dots all over. Her arms are open as if leaning on the bale. She is barefooted. The bale has black straps around it and the brown stitching depicts ... morethe burlap wrap. There are places where cotton or cotton batting has been placed to look like cotton sitcking out of the bale. Some of the original cotton pieces are missing. But because the cotton linen is in perfect condition, this does not hurt the look at all. There is also brown stitching in the background. The back of the pillow is plain. I'm offering up for sale an excellent used Canon EOS 5D Mark II Kit with the EF 24-105 f/4 L lens. I've owned the camera for about 18 months and it has not received heavy use in that time. It has fewer than 3000 actuations. The camera has always been well cared for. Having been stored in a well-padded camera bag. The camera is completely free of scuffs and scratches, including the back viewing screen. It's a great camera but not suited to my particular photographic interest, street photography, where a camera this size is entirely too big and obtrusive. That said, I've loved the excellent quality of the images and the reliability of the camera. In addition to the basic kit. I'm offering a few ... moreextras that will be included with the camera. I switched out the Camera strap for an Optech strap. Both the Canon and Optech straps will be included. I think you'll find the Optech strap considerably more comfortable. I have for sale this beautiful vintage black velvet painting of a Japanese Geisha Girl. It is signed Masato or Mazato. Not sure, in lower right hand corner. It has a outer wood frame with more narrow gilted gold frame inside. Has a glass cover. It has been professionally framed by Sekai-Do framers in Tokyo. Painting measures 15 x 17 1/2. measurement of outer frame 24 1/2 x 22. Purchased at an Estate Sale. Lady of the house brought it from Japan many years ago. The painting is in excellent condition but the frame has rubbed corners and some chips which son said occurred during shipping and storage. Could be reframed beautifully.
