The Blodgett Signal Clock Catalog Reprint Blodgett Brothers& Company was an early electrical business started in Boston by two brothers. George and Aaron Blodgett in 1878. Both men were graduates of MIT. Their business consisted of a variety of electrical goods including bells, electric fire detector systems, electric batteries, watchmen's clocks, and an electrically operated program disc machine for the automatically operated ringing of bells for the starting of passenger trains in railroad stations. Around 1894. Blodgett Brothers introduced a self-winding master clock to operate clocks and bells in schools.
