12FQ8: (28) - Very High Testing RCA / Branded Wurlitzer Vacuum Tubes
I recently bought these from a man in North Tonawanda who used to have a Wurlitzer electronic organ made in circa 1980. He eventually got rid of the organ. But saved the tubes. I have the 12AX7s listed presently. These are the other tubes from the organ, 28 12FQ8s. I tested them on my Century tube tester, model FC-2. I have included a picture showing one of the 12FQ8s being tested. It shows over 90 in the photo. They all tested that way, high into the green, nearly to the 100 mark on the scale. The code dates are very similar throughout the lot. They all start with 63. No sales to Italy.

Vintage Hickok Mutual Conductance 600A Vacuum Tube Tester, Functional
ITEM DESCRIPTION A vintage 600A tube tester by Hickok. It works well. May need calibration though. I tested the function with a couple different tubes such as 27, 80, 6V6, 6SN7 and all performed as expected. The power cord is flexible and has no cracks. The small grid cap adapter aged and a bit cracked at the base of it. There is an nice built-in scroll for tube settings included and it even still shows those two digit tubes. The handle. Hinges and clasps are tight and in good condition. Exterior cabinet not water damaged or cracked however, it does have marks paint splatters, and tears consistent with its age. Inside, the panel& meter look great. Just a bit of"finger" wear at the scroll wheel and tube test knob as expected. A very nice Hickok Mutual Conductance tester! Sorry no manual however. A local company contracted the construction of these main High Vacuum Chamber components to a company called PVI System Technology. Of Oxnard, California. PVI is a System Engineering& Manufacturing company specializing in High Vacuum and Thermal Process Technologies. Since 1981. PVI Engineers& Technical Staff have successfully designed& manufactured a wide variety of Automated Vacuum Processing Systems for the Photovoltaic, Flat Panel Display, Semiconductor, Aerospace, High Purity Material& other challenging industries.
