Also has maps of the Moon and Stars and planet maps and very nice map of ASIA. This is a RARE and hard to find Atlas with many colors and different steel plates that are hard to find. Condition: The atlas is complete with all the maps and plates. The atlas has a new leather spine with the original gilded spine title and gold gilding attached to new spine, the covers are original with new leather end protectors. Made of steel plates with no concrete. The safe was made by Mosler Standard Safe Co. Inc. A model number of 266948 is written on the round portion of the handle on the outside of door. Nothing indicates the age. All dimensions are Approximate and to my measuring. The outside dimensions are Approx. 34-3/4" high X 23-1/2" wide X 24-3/4" deep and 1-1/2" extra for the hinges. From the floor to the bottom of the safe is 7-3/4" The Door measures 17-3/4" X 23-3/4" The inside dimensions are Approx. Overall 22-5/8" deep X 20-1/2" ... morewide X 26-1/2" high. INSIDE- FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: The Top Shelf measures- 17-1/2" deep X 20-1/2" wide. Left Side Pigeon Hole measures- 3-1/2" wide X 7-1/2" high X 17-1/2" deep. Lock Box measures- 6-1/4" wide X 7-1/4" high X 17-1/2" deep. 2 Drawers measure- 3-1/2" wide X 6" high X 17-1/2" deep. Right Side Pigeon Hole measures- 3-1/2" wide X 7-1/2" high X 17-1/2" deep. The outside reads: STANDARD SAFE CO. INC. 136 Lafayette St. New York. NY The two holes on the backside of the safe were made because the combination had been lost. A locksmith had to drill into the back in order to see the mechanism on the front door to get inside. The safe dial was then picked- seen in photo's. A whole was made in the front by a acetylene torch so a light could be put in while the two holes in the back where made in order to pick the lock. This safe has been used for 40 years and has been inside the house. We DO have the combination along with keys for the inside compartments. As far as we know. the drawers are original. We have not painted it or done any repairs. It is a dark or olive green color. Could use a bit of paint

On the back it has engraved very finely"Madein France. It also has other very small marking which I can not make out! It also has a circle on the back center where themakers mark would usually go! I havesearched and searched and have not had any success in locating the makeror age of this beautiful RARE piece!

This is a great addition to your collection. Old antique cast iron stove top sad iron heater plate. Marked underneath pat. apl'd for and numeral 9. No breaks or cracks. Nice smooth top surface. It is designed to sit on top of a cast iron cook stove. The heater sets on three small legs. As the heat from the cook stove rises it hits the fins on the bottom of the heater and this circulates the heat to the surface of the sad iron heater top. Up for auction is a rare Steel Engraving Printing Die Plate that features Bonds for the Republic of Bolivia. It says"REPUBLIC OF BOLIVIA External Bonds if the Republic of Bolivia of 1922. This plate. Measuring about 6 1/2" x 2" x 3/8" weighing about 12 ounces, is in very nice condition with some extremely light corrision in along the bottom edges. Stamped on the back of the plate is"John Sellers& Sons, Sheffield, England" with their logo of a Sword through the letter"S" The plate has on number 206 stamped on the front. It comes with the cardboard holder with the design printed and number 206 hand written in fountain pen. The knobs and escutcheons have an elegant. Art Deco style design. At the point of salvage. All parts were dirty and unevenly tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned and polished the parts to the best of our ability. The center of the knobs are bit scuffed. Alas, whilst there is a mark, it is virtually impossible to ascertain. It looks like the original design was a steel lid and foot with potentially burnished silver plate in the middle. This piece stands 7.75" high to the top of the finial. The main bowl measures about 4 1/8" across. We would suggest that there are also several missing items. Not on the stamp/ on the backscan. Arts& Crafts style, pocket door pulls made by"Yale& Towne" of Stamford, CT around the turn of the previous century. They are made of stamped steel and were originally brass plated. Most of the brass has remained, but there are a few spots were it has worn away giving them a nice, distressed touch. The pulls were salvaged from central Missouri. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the brass plating as possible.
