Leica HISTOEMBEDDER You're bidding on a Leica Histoembedder Tissue Embedding System! The Leica Histoembedder is a tissue embedding center that combines a hot plate. Paraffin dispenser, and cold plate in a single, integrated system. This unit is microprocessor controlled and features separately heated paraffin tank, mold tray, cassette bath, and work surface, all of which can be individually programmed for temperature. The cold plate and each heated element can also be turned on or off separately, and the flow rate of the pump-controlled paraffin dispenser is adjustable in 10 increments. The unit has a 7 day, 24 hour timer that can be programmed to automatically turn on and off at specific times and days, allowing to be warmed up in and ready for use during scheduled work hours without user intervention. The unit also features a heated ... moreforceps holder, integrated illumination for the dispenser, and a removable paraffin collecting tray underneath the work surface. This system was recently decommissioned from a university research lab and it is in excellent condition. It has been disassembled. Inspected, cleaned, and thoroughly tested. The cold plate and all heated zones reach temperature quickly and maintain setpoint accurately and the programming functions work correctly. The refrigeration compressor runs smoothly and quietly, and the paraffin pump provides good flow and responds correctly to flow rate programming. The display is clear with no missing pixels, and the keypad operates smoothly and firmly. This embedding center is completely functional and ready to be put into service in your lab!
