This is a nicely preserved Newark Scale Works/ OHAUS Balance Mercantile scale that works great and is in tune with my postal scale.Great piece that was patented in Mar of 1915.Base has the paint scuff up some but the Emblems are pristene and all the Co. Emblems and Logos are in fantastic conditon.Would take little for a complete restoration.Cant find in any better shape without a restoration having been done.

This auction features a group of 3 different scale weights. There is a large set. Ohaus, consisting of 14 different brass weights, the largest being 2000grams. There is a smaller set, unmarked, with 13 brass weights and the largest is 20grams. There are a total of 13 brass weights, and about the same number of much lighter silver colored weights. Finally, there is a set by Fisher that has a total of 9 weights, with the heaviest being 100 grams. None of these sets are entirely complete so we are selling all three together.

This item. An antique original, Ohaus balancing single beam scale. From the early 1900's this vintage scale is in good, working condition. There is some rust on the frame, but no holes or other serious issues, there is also some chipped paint, also on the frame, but nothing that a paint job couldn't fix. Measuring approximately 14' X 6' X 7' with milk glass balancing plates measuring 6' in diameter. With its 2 kilo capacity, this scale also offers a 10 gram sliding scale in front. This Ohaus scale is a priceless piece of American manufacturing history. This is a used Cent-O-Gram Triple Balance beam scale. Model CG 311. It was made by Ohaus, and has 311 gram capacity. It was previously used by a jeweler for weighing gemstones and metals, though can be used for weighing anything in the size/weight range. The weights slide, it does need dusted off, and it would benefit from a nice, gentle cleaning once in the hands of the buyer. It has a bubble level on it to make sure it is level when weighing things. It comes with two balance weights, and a removable pan. It stands between 11-12" high x about 14" x 4 1/2. I has one spot of paint missing where the bottom pan swings over, its screw hits the base. Otherwise its in amazing condition. I don't know much about these things so please ask questions.

This VINTAGE OHAUS scale was made for The William Pike Company Detroit Michigan. It is made of cast steel with 2 glass discs. The original weight set is included with the following weights: 1)500g(1)200g(2)100g(1)50g(1)20g(2)10g(1)5g(2)2g in a very nice vintage box with no lid and no damage. I notice no rust on this scale. Only what looks like tarnish on the arms holding the 1-10 scale. The paint is in nice condition with no chips. The badges have worn paint could be the way they age. The OHAUS badge is worn. I dont know much about scales and definately not about balance scales but this one seems to work. The level scale and pointer will be removed for shipping, do not throw away packing material until you install it all.

MOTOMCO MODEL 919 MOISTURE TESTER WITH OHAUS TRIPLE BEAM SCALE FOR MEASUREMENT
From a local farm estate. On the sale block is this Motomco Grain moisture tester with the Ohaus scale you need to measure the right amount of grain. Apparently these are used together so they will be sold together. I do not have the manual for it but it does not look too complicated. The bottom tube with the sensor has the same serial number as the original machine meaning they were matched from the factory. I did test iti with some pistachio shells and they got the needle to move. The only issue I can see is that the window was gooped up with silicone as it was loose. It can be taken apart and reglued properly but I will let the new owner decide on that. One money buys the scale and machine. Terms: Paypal is the preferred form of payment. I will ship anywhere.
