This is a steady rest I believe is from a Hardinge lathe. I am not sure. Iit could be from a Rivet or an Ames. Please ask questions and I can measure anything you want. The item is clean and shows normal wear. the upper brass piece was cut as seen in the photo but this does not have much affect.
