Original Taito Elevator Action marquee from a retired Taito video arcade game. In fair used condition. Photo is of actual marquee listed. Has numerous scratches and scuffs on the face of the marquee. If viewed from the front. It looks pretty good. Many of the scratches and scuffs must be viewed at an angle to see them. There are also numerous scratches on the paint surface of the back allowing light to show through. Scratches are mostly small. A few are 1/4 inches long. One is about 1/2 inch long. One is 4 inches long but is made up of many small narrow scratches. Unless the marquee is held up to light. Most of the scratches are not noticeable. Marquee measures 22-3/4 inches by 6-3/4 inches. Solid brass elevator door, scissor style with accessories
Up for sale is a solid brass elevator door i believe was removed from a local hotel. It is Otis stamped in multiple places. The height is approx 82' and the width is approx 52' and weighs approx 200# so buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements at own cost. It is a scissor style door and works as should. There is a couple spots as pictured that were wear spots and the brass got weak and cracked but does not affect the structural integrity of it. I also have odds and ends to go with it like: elevator control box. Name plates, capacity plates, 3 solid brass handles that went inside the elevator for holding, floor indicator and other misc stuff as pictured above. Included is also the top and bottom frame where the doors slide on to open and close. 19th Century Cast Iron Germania Commercial Building Elevator Floor Indicator
completely refinished late 19th century and largely intact interior commercial building elevator floor indicator purportedly salvaged in the early 1980's from extant germania building designed by the architectural firm of schnetzky& liebert. the circular-shaped elevator indicator contains a concentric ring surrounding four matching elongated bellflowers eminating from a centrally located medallion with fleur-de-lis design motifs.the ornamental iron indicator retains the original detachable cast bronze numbers and single letter representing"basement. the indicator was likely fabricated by or for the elevator supply& repair company. Chicago, il. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the germania building is an eight-story historic beaux-arts/classical revival style building in milwaukee, wisconsin. ... moreit was built in 1896 for george brumder to house the headquarters of his publishing empire. the 8-story building was designed by german-trained architects schnetzky& liebert and was, at the time of its construction, the largest office building in the city of milwaukee in addition to its characteristic copper pickelhaube domes, the building was graced by a 10-foot tall, three-ton bronze statue of germania on a plinth over the door. in 1918, the building's name was changed to the brumder building in response to anti-german sentiment during world war i, and the statue was removed discreetly in the night. efforts to trace the fate of the statue, which was stored for a while by sculptor cyril colnik, have proven futile, with one theory claiming that it was melted down for scrap during world war ii, and another speculating that it may have gone to the smithsonian institution, and possibly still be there. seventeen years after brumder's death in 1910, the printing presses were removed from the basement levels of the building, giving the city its first underground parking garage. the name was changed back to the germania building after a significant renovation in 1981.

Chicago, il. the gargantuan heavy cast iron wall-mount call box contains a single push button and the word"down. this configurations allows one to"call" or signal an elevator to the penthouse floor for going down only. this indicator was designed specifically for that application and is why the"up" button was replaced with an original decorative brass rosette and the name plate above left blank. the largely intact copper-plated finish has been preserved by sealing it with a clear coat lacquer. the centrally located cartouche features opposed beading flanking the slightly raised lettering. ... moreelegantly designed neoclassical design motifs in the form of foliated scrollwork, shells and/or palmettes and curvaceous volutes greatly enhance the otherwise utilitarian elevator call box. great overall condition, considering age. the sherman hotel dates back to 1837(the same year the city was incorporated) where the first of five sherman hotels were built and rebuilt at clark and randolph in downtown chicago. the first incarnation was three stories high and constructed by francis cornwall sherman, who would go on to serve three terms as chicago's mayor. the last sherman hotel was a massive and distinctive 15-story, 757-bed structure designed by the architectural firm of holabird and roche in 1911. the very top of the non-extant hotel contained a mansard roof accentuated with exceptionally detailed female caryatids supporting arched windows. it was later demolished in 1973. the remarkable and highly ornamented elevator call box measures 9.5" x 17.5" x 3 inches.

Nettleton as President! Unique vignette! Low serial#38. George H. Nettleton. Son of Alpheus and Deborah Nettleton was born in Chicoppee Falls, Massachusetts on November 15, 1851. He attended public schools until he was 18 and then studied a Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute for one year. He felt his parents were unable to educate him further, so he secured employnent as an ax man on the New Haven and New London Railroad for $1.00 per day. From this humble beginning Nettleton advanced to rodman, draughtsman and leveler. Later he was appointed one of the division engineers for the Terre Haute and Alton Railroad, and by 1857 he was resident engineer on the Wabash. In ... more1860, Nettleton was detailed to make a survey of the road from Kansas City to Cameron, Missouri. During the Civil War his entire working force was organized and armed as militia. And Nettleton served as commander of one of the companies, stationed at Hannibal MO. He was also the engineer in charge of the railroad bridge over the Mississippi River at Quincy, Illinois. Antique Kimball Bro's Council Bluffs Ia Cast Iron Elevator Sign O'keefe
This old cast iron sign was found in a rural Iowa barn at a sale east of Council Bluffs. It is about 14 1/2" long and about 5 3/4" tall. It is about 1/4" thick. weight is just under three pounds. The Kimball brothers built quality elevators in Council Bluffs starting in 1892. I do not know the age of this sign or its purpose. Could it possibly have framed a dial showing what floor the elevator was on? There is some darker discoloration toward the bottom of the piece and it looks like the"R" has a ding at the bottom. Sears Craftsman Radial Arm Saw parts - Elevator Crank
That little crank under your carriage.yeah. The one you set the saw down on while tossing it into the trunk- or maybe it's that little crank that has to lift the entire arm, motor and carriage, with no lube(or too much lube) and it just snapped off. Well, replace it- besides you might want to use your Vice Grips for something other than a stand-in crank. This Elevation Crank came from Model number 113.29440 but it fits many of the older style saws. It's a cheap and easy fix to an all too common problem. Roland KD-8 Kick Trigger- Excellent Working Condition You are bidding on a Roland KD-8 kick trigger in excellent working condition but it is missing the optional leg elevator plate and carptet spurs. It works perfectly and performs like new. There is some scratching where the pedal was attached and some scuffs and minor scratches on the front of the tower. The surface of the replaceable rubber pad has some marring. And there is some gouging of the pad from the right beater. This KD-8 has the gloss black finish.
