Hinges, Hardware ~ Circa 1890-1900 Unit Measures 50” x 43 ½” x 26” ~ Stored in Smoke-Free Home This is a once-restored antique oak roll-top watchmaker’s or jeweler’s bench from between the 1890’s or 1900 or so. It is in very good condition and shows normal wear and tear for it’s age—over a decade—100 plus years. As shown in the photos. There are also some surface scratches, dings, paint speckles, and staining on the canvas catch cloth. This lovely watchmaker’s bench has nine drawers. Two deep cabinets or cupboards with doors, two drop down oak sides, and a canvas catch drawer. All original drawer pulls, hooks, hinges, hardware, and the canvas catch are intact and ... morefully functioning. The roll-top piece works well, rolls easily, and engages a set of drawer locks when closed. We do not have a key. The unit measures 50” H x 43 ½” W x 26” D. Workbench height is 39” from the ground. All wood is solid oak. This bench has a tambour shaped roll-top that completely covers the work area when closed. Each side drops down by unhooking hooks to provide an even larger tabletop surface which measures 60” across. One of the cupboard enclosures was specifically designed to house watchmaking and jeweler’s tools; the other enclosed the flywheel for the treadle. This antique roll-top jeweler’s bench does not include the original watchmaker’s lathe. Driving pulleys, treadle, or other related machinery. I originally purchased this beautiful piece in Pennsylvania over thirty years ago. It may or may not be a J.H. Rosberg Manufacturing Company make from Chicago. Illinois. I am pretty sure this desk was made sometime between 1900- 1940s. It measures in INCHES: 42 3/4 tall. 33 3/4 front to back, 60 wide, 22 1/4 knee hole opening, 12 3/4 cubby height. It is in wonderful vintage condition. Roll top and all 7 larger drawers work wonderfully. It has 2 pull out writing surfaces and many cubbys and smaller drawers. Kitty Hawk Aircargo 1/100 Scale Boeing Super27 727-200. This is a very very rare one of a kind model. It was an executive gift to be used during a sales campaign for the Super27. This is the rocket of the 727's. I believe there were less than 75 of the-200's converted to Super27's. The model appears to be resin and is a desk top display type. The base is metal and walnut. The back of the metal stand has an indentation on the metal part. You can see it in the photo and it in no way distracts from the display of this model. It is in an original box which is foam padded. The end of the box says Kitty Hawk Cargo. The model is approx. 18 inches from nose to tail. With wings installed measuring from wing tip to wing tip is approx. 13 inches. The wing from root to tip is 7 inches. Installed on the stand the height at the nose is approx ... more7 3/4 inches and the tail is approx 8 1/4 inches. The manufacturer is Space Models. LTD, Middlesex, England and this is a high quality model and looks great. You can see from the photo's the detail. Including the Super27 logo on the engines. The Super27 is a 727-200 that was modified by installing 2 new JT8D-217/219 outboard engines with new mixers and nozzle for the center engine. The modification also included new struts. New engine mounts, new composite nacelle or inlet and engine cowling with a new hydraulic thrust reverser. This increase thrust improved aircraft performance and reduced runway takeoff length by 20% and increased payload-range. There was an estimated 10 to 15 per cent fuel savings. It was by far the quietest 727-200 ever built. It also achieved Stage III noise requirements. The aircraft was marketed in 3 configurations, passenger, cargo and VIP. Antique Flat top Mahogany Desk with Plate Glass Top
Purchase this desk about 20 years ago. I am not sure how old it is if I guessed I would think maybe the 1920's or 30's but I really don't know. It was refinished years ago. Has stain in some of the drawers. Finish isn't in bad shape needs some polishing and clean up. A few of the drawers are swollen. Will probably be okay if it is stored in a heated area. It is in a dry but cold garage at this point. A few of the slides need to be realigned and fastened down. I think it is Maghony and it has burled veneer flame front drawers. The bronze ormolu mounts are spectacular showing cherubs on both sides as candle holders and cherubs to the center of the back rail. The floral marquetry on the cylinder fall is set on Kingwood and Rosewood. Fascinating little standing calendar that I picked up at a recent estate sale. I had never seen one of these little calendars before. They're very decorative as well as useful in its day. Seem to be gaining interest as a collectible item as well. It's in good, but not perfect, condition. Some signs of wear. It measures about 3" in diameter. I think I can put this in a padded envelope for shipping if the buyer agrees.

Map Globe Metal Desk Top Size Vintage
This auction is for a Map Globe sized for the desk top or shelf. It is made of metal. I have no idea of its age. But I suspect sometime during the 1940's because that is when we were in school. The base has the signs, like Libra, Aries, etc. The arc holding the globe to the base is plastic, and has segments(degrees? from 0 in the center to 90 at the top and bottom. There is a maker's stamp"Ohio Art Byron, Ohio" stamped on the side. it has the continents divided into countries. Also are a series of red dotted lines indicting the tracks of something, but I don't know what. There is only one small dent over the eastern tip of the soviet Union and one on the equator at the international date line. I think this globe is still in very good condition.
