ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE SINGLE DRAWER 5" X 8" INDEX/ FILE CABINET- TIGER OAK* Up for sale is this very nice single/ one drawer index file cabinet. This is a very nice quality card cabinet and is made from tiger oak with a nice brass handle. It has a little brass plate on it that says"Library Bureau Sole Makers. It appears to be a light clear stained color and is very smooth. The cabinet is in good shape for it's age and has very few nicks. Dings or scrapes on it as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet is dovetail mortised along the top, bottom and on the drawer. One dovetail has a little piece missing from it as you can see in the second to the last picture. The cabinet has a bottom. The drawer is nicely done and has a little metal divider that slides along the slot in the bottom of the drawer. The cabinet measures 15.75" ... moreL x 10" W x 7.5" H. The inside of the drawer will hold a 5" x 8" card horizontally and the drawer is just slightly larger than the card. The cabinet weighs 13 lbs. which is a testament to it's quality. From a storage unit auction comes this early to mid 1800's Apothecary 8 drawer hand dive tailed and hand made spice cabinet. Drawer faces are of matching wood grain most likely an oak or similar hard wood. This piece is near mint there is a tiny bit of chipping on op of bezel on the right side. There is minute chipping on bottom right side skirting. 6- of the handles look to have been replaced down the road but 2- handles still seem of period. Vtg 8 Round Ball White Porcelain Glass Drawer Cabinet Pulls Knobs Handles Salvge
thank you for your interest! selling eight drawer pulls they measure 26mm. Just over 1" wide x 1.5" long they were used. Some will have paint on them and possibly grease from handling the brass section may be discolored more on some of them than others. I dont see any rust though as for the ball section. Looking at them, I dont see any major scuff marks or cracks and they weigh just under an ounce each. They do clean up well as you will see in the second photo the third and fourth photos are examples i am seeing of the paint and dirt I do have 40 of these in all and will be listing them soon. This is another wonderful. OLD antique oak 8 drawer file cabinet. It was made by the SHAW WALKER Co. and is also marked Seattle Office Equipment Co. From the early 1900s, it looks like there ar 10 drawers, but the 2 bottom drawers are actually doubles, so they would hold a deeper file. overall great condition, doors all slide out smoothly. Very heavy over 100 lbs. Measures 52 inches high, is 22 inches across and is 27 inches deep. The finish is very good, but it has slight scuffs, scratches and nicks, as would be expected for a old cabinet. Free local pick up, I can deliver it up to 200 miles from my location for gas money. We have refinished this piece and it is in excellent condition with a smooth and even finish. Overall size of the piece is 68 long. 27 wide, and 34 high. Cabinet handles are 4 1/2" overall length with 3/4" off set. 3" on center hole to center hole. I'm not sure what you call these-either burnished brass or antique brass or brushed brass-not a bright shiny finish. They have the screws included. ANTIQUE WOOD SPICE RACK TEA CABINET 8 DRAWER BOX OLD NR Up for your consideration is this really cool old antique 8 drawer wood spice rack. It is probably from the 1920's or 30's The knobs are probably replacements from maybe the 1950's or 60's. The entire thing(frame and boxes) is made from some very old rough sawn wood. But I am not sure of the specie. FEATURES: The drawers are solid wood and have box joints. ADD. INFO: It is currently a semi gloss white(spray painted) probably in the 50's or 60's and before that it was brush painted that pale"diner" yellow probably from the 30's or 40's and before that I think it may have been unfinished(and a bit more dignified) its first couple decades. It is possible that this is older. But I try to be conservative. SIZE: It measures about 10" wide x 5-1/2" ... moredeep x 16-1/2" tall The inside dimensions of the boxes are 3-3/4" wide x 4-1/8" deep x 2" tall. COLOR: semi gloss white TYPE: antique kitchen spice or tea cabinet CIRCA: likely around the mid 1920's give or take 10 years MATERIAL: Rough sawn wood planks. Mill-cut CONDITION: as can be seen it is painted white and that was over the yellow and it has some dings and dents. One of the drawers looks like the top edge got carved off for some reason along the way? can't imagine how that came to be. But all the drawers go in and out and fit into their respective openings fairly well. It is solid and very secure, over the decades the wood has dried out but is not warped at all. So because of its age and condition this is being sold"AS IS" Its old and seen some days but I think it has more character than anything else! A very handsome old piece. I think if I were to keep this one I would strip every drop of paint off of it and hand rub it with paste wax, I know there are some of you out there that would scream bloody murder over that but I love natural wood grain. Set of 8 Vintage Brass File Cabinet Drawer Label Holders I’m still listing some items from last week’s estate sale and auction. And I had wonderful luck at this weekend’s flea market- some really really unique items, you don’t want to miss! Here is a fabulous set of 8. Matching, old vintage(if not antique) brass file cabinet drawer label holders. Each one measures 3 1/2" widest by 1 5/8" tallest(including the screw tabs) and the inside opening for the label is 2 1/2" by 1" tall. There are screw hole tabs on three sides- the 4th side being where the label slips in. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition with an age darkened patina- I have not cleaned these in any way. There's some ripples on the edges and by the screw tabs on some that are minor- see photo 5, and more than likely from when they were removed ... morefrom the cabinet. They are light, and the metal can be bent, if I tried. There's also some scratching on the metal- more around where the screws were than anywhere- see photo 7- it's much harder to see to the eye than it is with my close up. They will attach well for you. Rosseau 8 drawer Steel Cabinet
This is a Rosseau super heavy duty steel cabinet. It has 8 drawers with that extend all the way out. Would make a great cabinet for a locksmith or someone that has a lot of little parts. When the drawers are fully open they lock in place. When fully closed they lock in place. The bottom one does not lock in place. There is a lock system that will lock all the drawers closed. I don't have a key for the lock, however it is a normal lock that can be replaced. The cabinet is 30 1/2" wide by 30" deep by 46" tall. Don't know what it weighs however it is very heavy. The drawers all have dividers in them with extra dividers. The dividers are all adjustable. This would make a great parts cabinet for small parts. This is a great set of eight(8) bakelite drawer pulls from the 1930s or so- sleek round shape with rings on the front and a great butterscotch color! Perfect for finishing that restoration project! These are in excellent condition. There looks like small chips on the edges but there are no chips- they look to be manufacturing flaws? At any rate. They look like they could be lightly sanded to make them smooth again. They measure 1 inch in diameter. They are 3/4" deep and 7/16" diameter at the screw end. Let me start by saying we have not cleaned or oiled this unit and it can look far better. Each of the sections are tight and the unit stands sturdy. There are many small issues with wood corners and trim pieces but the unit as a package is very nice. It measures overall at 58” tall x 33” wide x 26” deep including the drawer handles. There are four original pull rods and one replaced escutcheon. I'm guessing Globe-Wernicke though it is not marked. There are some marked numbers on the front of the unit and some on the wood support pieces. If you opt for shipping we will send 5 individual packages via Greyhound Express $400. There are two columns of drawers, each drawer having slots where dividers can be placed(does not come with dividers) Each drawer has a card catalog style labeled pull. The lower two rows of drawers are deeper than the top two, which makes it nice for storing different items. The top drawers measure 7.5" wide X 10" deep X 1.25" high.
