Here is a late Victorian c1920s to mid 1930s Telephone stand desk. They were usually used in hall ways where notes could be taken and left for others in the home to receive. The shelf below is covered by a pair of taven type drawers which swing out to reveal the phone book. The top section has two cubbies for letters and or mail going out for the day. The drawer would hold pencils for the notes along with a pull out bottom shelf in desk section for the actual note taking. This is a hard to find piece in excelent original condition. An unrestored rareity. So hurry this it is a keeper! It stands 41 inches tall by 19 wide and 12 inches deep. Look closely at the woven reed panels on the uprights. very stylish and still in excellent condition! We are unable to find a makers mark on these. But they are crafted well with real wood and Formica. Durable for use as a bench, or a side table. The cushions are firm and in very clean and excellent condition. They have lightened a very little bit with age, but they were used in the basement den, so they had very little exposure to sunlight. Overall. Vintage Wooden End Telephone Table Nightstand with Drawer Needs Refinished
Up for auction is this wooden table. I am unable to find out any information about it. It was part of a clean out project I was involved with. It has black paint on the top and a few specks in other spots. It also has other surface stains. This table needs to be refinished. There are also some surface scratches on the top and on the right side as shown in the pictures. The deepest being on the right side. IT is a very nicely constructed table and still sturdy. No major scratches, chips or breaks. I could not find any manufacturers marks other than the number 22 inside under where the drawer is and on the bottom of the drawer. Measures 28" High, 13.5" Wide and 14" Deep. If you are close enough to pick up rather than ship I can have this arranged also.

Early American Style Gossip Bench Telephone Table Solid Wood & Nice Condition!
Early American Country Style Telephone Gossip Table This classic piece of furniture is in great condition for it's age. I'm not sure just how old it is. But I would guess it was made in the 1960's. The only markings are the makers stamp inside the drawer and the number 4886 on the bottom. The makers stamp is actually into the wood. The number on the bottom is an ink stamp. It's made of Sugar Maple wood- very solid and fairly heavy. Excellent quality workmanship. Built when American manufacturers proudly made things to last. I tried to get a good photo of the stamp but you can only really make out the manufacturer- O'Hearn- and the location- Gardner Mass. You can barely make out the Sugar Maple on the stamp in between. Just doesn't match my decor anymore. There are knicks and scratches typical of something this age. There is an area where my dog chewed on it a few times when she was a puppy. Restaining this would hide most of the blemishes. The top is in very nice condition without any deep scratches. Most of the knicks are at the bottom of the legs. Near the feet. It is fairly sturdy. But does wobble just a tiny bit. It is plenty sturdy for a plant or as an occasional ... moretable for keys. Candle, etc. Because of it's tall and narrow size. I wouldn't put a tall lamp or TV on top of it, but it should work for most any other purpose as it is. This is an amazing old telephone. I bought this at an estate sale and it did not work. I sent it off to A-1 Electronics here in Belleville to be repaired. Dennis. Who owns A-1, completely went through the whole phone and repaired it to perfect condition. He always records the videos of his works in progress and then uploads them to You Tube for all to see. To see the restoration of this telephone just type in A-1 Electronics on You Tube and search for this telephone amongst his works. The handset is plastic as the video shows. Vintage Mid Century Modern IBM Metal Telephone Table d. Eliot Noyes Nightstand
For auction is one amazing little telephone table from the mid-1950s. It was designed by Eliot Noyes for use in the IBM corporate offices. In addition to spending twenty-one years working as consultant design director for IBM(designing the IBM Selectric typewriter in 1961 among many other products) Noyes was also a notable architect of the 20th century modern period in American architectural history. He was a member of the Harvard Five, a group of modern architects who practiced in New Caanan, CT, and also served as curator of industrial design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Despite its strong lines. This is a diminutive little table. It stands 22.25" tall, and the white laminate top is 15.5" wide by 13.5" deep. The storage space is 11.25" wide and deep, and 3" tall. It rolls on three shiny caster with black ... moreball-type wheels. There are a few small scratches on the top(pictured) and one corner in the laminate on the back of the table is chipped(pictured) The storage space is a metal tray painted in a matte gray finish, and the legs are steel painted a satin black.
