This reel is in very nice condition(see our grading system below) The reel shows its age a little, but the only thing missing is one of the tiny drag adjustment screws, but it doesn't seem to affect it mechanically. The drag instruction sheet shows its age, but is legible and clean, as is the arbor. The cork is great and the label is perfectly intact. Very easy to read. What an original combination! This is a Vintage 1967 Pflueger Trump No. 486 Glass Saltwater Rod. It is 6 foot in length and has 3 stainless steel guides and stainless steel tip top. The guides are good and have a little saltwater rash. And the wrapping of the guides is in perfect condition. It has a very nice wooden butt which is also perfect. It also has a cork fore grip which is also perfect and doesnt even look used. The reel seat is stainless steel and very slight wear, but almost perfect. This rod is in very nice vintage condition and a very rare find at an estate sale in the florida keys last week. This great playing wooden piccolo was purchased originally by a friend of Roy Seaman. The gentleman was not a musician. Yet wanted to buy a piccolo from Roy as a keepsake. Mr. Seaman was an acquaintance of Emerson De Ford. Mr. De Ford asked Roy Seaman to make piccolos for him with his logo on them. This is one of that venture. How do I know this? I was the one that built the piccolo at Roy Seaman's factory. I recently performed repair on the piccolo, and the grand-daughter of Roy's friend wanted for me to sell it for her. Antique 11" Apothecary Jar/Bottle cylindrical/cork seal on glass stopper
This is a turn of the century apothecary jar which is 11" tall including the stopper and 4 3/4" in diameter with 3 1/4" stopper. Jar is heavy and sides are sturdy and thick with side marks as if made as"pressed glass" or in a mold' Stopper is interesting 1" thick and 3 1/4" in diameter There is an indented part on top of the stopper 1/4" deep and1 5/8" across. The plug part is 2 1/2" across and about 1/2" deep with a large indent also 1/2" in and 1 1/2" across. Around the edge of the plug/stopper part ther is a thin ring of cork which must have been glued on and there is about 1/4" part missing. Outside of jar has remnents of a label. Beautiful. Extremely detailed, intricate cork carving of a lovely pagoda, bonsai trees, and an imaginary pond with 2 white egrets enjoying the water. This piece of art is 9 1/2" tall by 11 1/2" wide and 3" deep. The arched glass and wood frame set off the beauty of the carving. There is a very small ding in the wood at the top as shown in the last photo. Other than that the carving is in great shape and comes from a smoke-free home. This beautiful painted bottle is either from France. Germany or Belgium, I cannot translate the writing. It seems vintage with the cork stopper but I am unsure of the age. It is for some kind of Liqueur or liquor called Malheur or Malkeur. This is POSSIBLY hand blown as the center of the bottom has a circular indent. There is one edge chip to the back rim(see photo#6) cannot be seen when displayed from the front. The end of the glass stopper is missing just a little below the cork(see photo's#1& 5) Measures a little over 8 inches tall.
