Antique letterbox organizer. Mahogany with brass strip edge trim, and Marquetry inlay. We are very plesed to be able to offer for your consideration this beautiful antique letter box organizer. This antique letterbox organizer is made of a buatifully grained 1/4 inch thick sheet mahogany. The front and the top. Inside panels have beautiful marquetry inlay boughs of stylized leaf pairs, accented by small four petal flowers. Framing the boughs is an ever so thin, appproximately 1.5 mm, inlayed stripe of a dark wood bordered by a blond wood. On the top edges of all the panels there is brass trim. This brass trim has a very subtle curved cross section, and a wonderfully warm patina. The base is 12 5/8 wide. By approximately 6 1/2 front to back, and 3/8 inch thick. The peak of the camel back style front panel measures 4 inches high, the first ... moreinside panel is 4 5/8, the second inside panel is 6 inches, and the back panel is 8 3/8 inches high. This piece weighs approximately 2 pounds Condition- The overall condition is very good. The inlay is in wonderful shape, there are no chips or voids in the inlay. The only slight defect I can see, is a very slight warping in panels. This can be seen most clearly in the top view picture of this piece. This is a vintage. Early American, wooden sewing barrel. Standing 7" tall and 39" around the barrel, the piece is in good, used condition. There are scratches consistent with normal usage and the barrel's age. When the barrel is unscrewed from its three legs, it measures 7" tall with the lid closed, and 5.5" tall with it open. The top opening is 10 3/4" across. Inside there are 5, approx 1" tall dowels for spools of thread. The handle measures 24" long by 1" wide, and is affixed at each side by a wooden peg. Each leg measures about 18" long, and screws into hardware underneath the barrel. There are 5 loops which could hold small bottles of spirits. Sewing notions or perhaps cosmetics or nail polish or perhaps something else entirely. For sale is a Vintage. Small Steel Tackle/Organizer Box with 10 Compartments. It is about 8'x 7" x 1.5" It is made of heavy duty steel, painted red and the lid is fastened with a 6" piano hinge that is protected by a metal flap to keep out dirt and moisture(see photos which show all the sides) It has light scratches and the paint is worn off on the bottom edges but has no appreciable dents or creases. I purchased it at a sporting goods store in the mid 1960's when I was a child and used it as a tackle box. It weighs about 1.8 pounds.

This is one of those once in a life time collectables from Coca-Cola. I guarantee you will never see another one of these up for auction again. Priceless. This item measures out at 4x4x3in. Comes with stamped minature Coke pencils, paper clips, pencil sharpener, color pencils, eraser, and two markers. The markers have dried over time, which is the only flaw regarding this item.
