These are 2 Victorian postage stamp holders- dispensers. One has a serrated edge to cut the stamps. They measure 2 3/4 inches across at the base and 2 3/8 inches across at the top and are 2 1/8 inches tall. Vintage Black Metal 2 Tier Desk Top Letter - Paper Tray
Up for bid or purchase is this 2 tier letter/ paper holder that I use to use at work back from the mid 80's until the mid-90's. I brought it home and began using it there. After my employer purchased new ones. There is no makers name on it. It is pretty heavy. This 2 tier holder is black metal with a faux-wood design. It measures 13 1/8" x 10" and stands 5 1/4" high, There is a dent on the back bracket. But that does not affect the stability of it. In addition due to it age and repeated use, there are scratches most noticable on the underside. The front looks like it slightly dips alittle. I'm not sure if that is how it is suppose to be or perhaps I stored something heavier on it, such as a binder. In any event, this also does not affect it's use. Contact me with any questions.

Possibly Edwardian era desk or library table is in excellent condition. I have owned it since 1980 and have not altered the finish. Although it may have been refinished prior to my ownership. This desk is very sturdy. The dimensions are 40" long X 25 1/4" deep X 28 1/4" high. Nice chunky brass hardware is complete and original. This desk is constructed of solid wood.no veneers.which I think is flame mahogany. The dovetailed drawers are constucted of what appears to be bird's eye maple bottoms(which is a very high quality wood to be used on drawer interiors) and oak sides. There is one center drawer and two deeper. More narrow drawers on the right side. Drawers all work smoothly. There is a platform at the lower level of the desk. The four feet are carved animal-type. On each side is a scroll sort of carving. The top is ... morein nice condition but I have not shown it in the photos because my TV sits atop it and I cannot lift it off. If you need to see a photo of the top. I will see what I can do. This desk must be picked up on location either by the buyer or the buyer's shipping agent. It is located in gorgeous Graeagle/Clio. Petite roll top desk. A very cute and rare piece. It has been refinished. At one time it was painted white. The chair, I'm not sure if it's original to the desk. I doubt if it is. However, it is size proportioned to the desk. There is age to the pieces, but no way for me to know how old. The roll top requires a little help to open and shut, but it is cloth backed and works. The chair is a swivel chair with hight adjustment. The drawers open and shut, but sometimes stick. I think a guide is out of line or missing. It is a very unique set. I haven't ever seen one like it.
