Vintage Lot Dial Indicators STARRETT, FEDERAL, GEM + Bonus MITUTOYO Micrometer
Hello Ebay Community, I am especially addressing the shoppers out there who are into machining for a living or as my Uncle did. Practicing a life-long hobby of machining small steam engines. I need your attention and your help. Before you in the preceding photos above are several of his dial indicators. I have done some research but I really don't know how to use them or really what they are for but I know they are vintage and they are pretty damn cool! There are two FEDERAL Testmaster Indicators. One says T-2 NM.0001 and the other one just says.001. They BOTH say Providence. RI. The T-2 is in its original hard green case and the other one is loose. There is also a STARRETT"Last Word" This also says No. 711 and.001 on the dial. It comes in its original hard black case which says The L. S. Starrett Company Athol. Massachusetts, ... moreUSA. This one looks like it be missing some implements but I can't be sure what they are. Lastly there is a GEM 222 that also says.001 on the dial. This one is in a clear plastic box and has several implements with it including a plastic tube with several small parts. Also included in this auction is a MITUTOYO Micrometer. I believe the model number is 0-1 and it comes in its original wooden case and even has a card inside with the company info and a conversion chart. I am also throwing in a CEN-TECH 6" Dial Caliper. This comes in its original hard plastic case covered in a cardboard sleeve that says Accuracy.001" This item also appears to be un-used for it is still wrapped in its plastic and it looks un-touched. All these tools seem to be well cared for and very functional. I need the person or persons out there to take them into their garage or workspace and use them in the same manner and with the same joy that my late Uncle used them. I have looked at what these pieces go for individually on Ebay and other sites and I believe I am starting the bidding at a fair price for the whole lot.
