Shear blades From Promecam 10'x1/4" shear
These are a set of shear blades that have a fresh sharpen on them. They came off of a 1/4" 10' promecam shear that I used to own. These blades measure 3" wide by 11/16 thick and are 10'2" long. One end on one side has a bit of a chamfer that they were not able to get out last time these were sharpened. Have 16 mounting holes spaced about 7-7/8" apart. As I explained under the condition of equipment. The she is not functioning at this time. The overall condition of the shear is in above average condition, the shop that I bought it from 8 years ago was a small fab shop and they did not use it much either, at the time, I paid $9500.00 for it. I was having trouble with the hold downs leaking making a mess of my work. I had to spend to much time cleaning up the material before I could even consider welding it. the shear cuts 10 feet of 10 gauge like butter, I hired I guy to to install new seals and somehow he screwed it up worse. He let the blade down manually he said by reliving the nitrogen tank. and now I cant get it back up. Nor could he. Buffalo Forge plate and rod shear antique
This is an antique plate and rod shear made by Buffalo Forge in Buffalo New York. This is model#22 and will shear at least 1/4" plate and 5/8" to 3/4" rod and maybe larger. I can't find any specs on this old girl but its heavy duty and built for the long haul. The blades are nice with no nicks and it works awesome. It is mounted to a steel base and its nice and stable.
