Offered here is an Aloris CXA Quick Change Tool Post. This tool post has the wedge type tool clamp. But the top portion of both wedges have been broken. I don't know how this happened, but but the wedges do adjust up and down on the slide. The tool post could probably be used as it is but the ideal thing would be to purchase a pair of wedges from Aloris and fix the tool post correctly. With a little time and effort you should have a nice original Aloris brand tool post at a reasonable cost.

Take a piece of Starrett stock 1" x 3/8" ... morex 12" long and tap a 1/4-28 threaded hole in one end. Take a 1/4-28 X 1.5" long set screw(same as the height adjustment screws in the KDK tool blocks I believe) and face off one end flat. Install set screw in bar and lock in place to correct height with nut. Any time you need to check centerline. Rest the bar on top of the KDK holder and match the tool tip to the preset height of the set screw. Spare parts and additional bars are readily available from aftermarket sources and ebay. THE NUMBERS ARE PARTIALY MILLED OFF BUT THEY LOOK LIKE VTBN 16 32 BUT I'M NOT SURE AS THE BOTTOM SIDE HAS BEEN MILLED OFF TO MAKE THE THICKNESS 3/4" PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION ALSO.
