For sale today I have I have this set of used machinist's parallel bars. Each of the bars are 6" long and 1/8" thick. The heights of the bars range from 1/2" to 1-5/8" The bars are owner marked with the initials"RLF" There are no other manufacturer or maker markings either on the box or the bars. The bars show wear and a few of the bars have acquired tool-marks. The latch on the box is broken and the box lid does not line-up perfectly with the box when the lid is closed. The homemade little angle checkers and the sliding parallels in because they came together. All in nice shape. I have a few lots left from an old time machinist coming up. The gentleman’s wife said he used to build satellites and some of them are for smaller work. See details and pictures for more info. Details: No Maker mark on the triangle. Triangle is 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 x 5 7/8 for a 45. 45 and 90 degree angles. The triangle is quality made and has clean edges. Triangle template and small pieces are machinist made quick angle checkers or layout pieces. No quality to these. Two small sliding parallels. Look machinist made. 2 3/4 inches long. Fine Print.
