I could not find a manufacturer. However No 3 is stamped on the top. There is not much that can affect the condition of this tool. But I would describe the condition as very good particularly for its age. The cast metal has some paint drippings and other signs of shop usage. However, there is no rust or damage which affects its usability. The jaws close tightly and the screw mechanism works smoothly. Milling machine vise high quality 2 3/8" capacity very nice
This is a nice high quality mill/machine vise with a 2 3/8" capacity. It is 10 1/2" long and 5" wide and 3" tall. The jaws are 1 1/8" deep and it has a 1/2" aligning key on the bottom to fit your table. There is some very small drill marks in the bottom but nothing bad and the jaws are mint. This at one time was a swivel vise but the previous owner set it up not to swivel and the swivel base is gone. This came off of a Brown&Sharp horizontal mill that I sold long ago. I am not sure of the make but believe me its beautifully made. Happy Bidding!
