It is still a very useable vise and with what a good vise costs today, even an import isn't cheap anymore, this vise is not a bad deal if you need one. Jaws are 3 7/8 wide X 7/8 deep. Vise opens to 3 3/4 anout 4 1/4 without the jaws. OAH is 3" Vise rotates on base and has degree marks from 0 to 90 in both directions. Even has a handle. It opens and closes smoothly. This is a very nice Emco vice for procession work. On the mill or drill press. It has the the t-slot screws for holding it tight and the jaws are notched for holding round objects. The vice is very clean and was put away well oiled. I bought this at an estate sale of a man who was doing watch and RC engine repair. Well we have just taken in a complete Machinist Tool Cart loaded with Model Maker/ Tool Maker fixtures. Measuring equipment, cutters, borescopes etc. We have to empty the top tool box, 2-drawer riser, main roll around base& side drawer hanging cabinet. All keys are with the boxes, all tools are a little aged from sitting but its tool steel so easy to clean up with a little elbow grease.
