1966 C. Plath 4 X 40 Micrometer Sextant with Bakelite Case & Key Original Owner
This Plath Micrometer Sextant was manufactured in Dec 1966 and I purchased it on Feb 20th 1967. I used this sextant for many years during my seagoing career. It is in great shape and ready to go. Use it or display it. It came in a bakelite box with a key. The sextant snap locks in the box when you put it in. It has a release you pull when you take it out. The origal foam padding is also still there. Included is the the SEXTANT-ATTEST CERTIFICATE FROM PLATH. Also included is the original bill of sale on Feb 20. 1966. Also included is the original brochure.

Only 1 of the measuring rods has been removed from the protective coating. So, this is basically an old like new set with the exception of the outside of the box which has a lot of wear.
