On one side it is embossed Reed MFG. Co. Erie PA USA and on the other side it is embossed with NO. 103 and the Tag on the side says Accuvise Manufactured for Manley Manufacturing Division American Chain and Cable Company. The only damage I can see is a couple of grind marks in the top of the jaws, see pics, otherwise Vise is in very good condition. Good used condition. I partially disassembled the vise to clean. Lubricate and inspect it. The inside of the vise was very clean and lubed when I first took it apart as shown in the second photo. The vise is completely reassembled and lubricated. The top of the vise has tool marks from normal use on the anvil and on the outside of the jaws. The jaws, screws and all moving parts are in very good condition. Much of the paint is worn off from normal use. The swivel base rotates continuously without any stops. There are two hold down clamps on the swivel base and 3 mounting holes. The vise weighs 25-3/4 lbs net weight. This is a very heavy duty vise that should virtually last forever. No owners markings. I have for auction these vintage machinist work hold blocks. They are as found and in good used condition. the work hold block in the middle is a threaded vise/clamp. The center rod is where the user opens and closes the vise/clamp with the allen wrench pictured. see pictures 4& 5) the two auxiliary bars are guide to keep the clamp/ vise straight in line. The other block,are unusual to me, I would guess a machinist will know their intended use. there is some winor signs of wear. There is also some minor surface rust and a few areas of minor pitting. Vintage Heavy Duty Press Vise No. 598 High Tensile strength Steel Made in Poland 6" jaws 7" max throat clearance. Front plate is chipped but still completely functioning. Random chips in the paint. Lo go is partially worn away but I think it Said High Quality across the center I cant quite make out the rest. There is also a cast logo on the side of the front jaw that looks like a backwards F then a P over the top of a U. It is very heavy and has 3 mounting holes on the swivel base. the dovetail ed sliding portion has adjustments to take up slop and compensate for any wear that occurs o ver the years. The threads are perf ect and it operates smoothly.

9" Machinist Jewelers Sawing Filing Parallel Jaw Sheet Metal Clamping Vise
Well we have just taken in a complete Machinist Tool Cart loaded with Model Maker/ Tool Maker fixtures. Measuring equipment, cutters, borescopes etc. We have to empty the top tool box, 2-drawer riser, main roll around base& side drawer hanging cabinet. All keys are with the boxes, all tools are a little aged from sitting but its tool steel so easy to clean up with a little elbow grease. Once the contents are sold the Tool Cart will be listed for auction, LOCAL pick up, but we can deliver to select locations. This stuff is heavy so in most cases we will be using USPS Flat Rate shipping so box size will determine price. We will try to fit as much in a small. Wilton No. 835 Machinist Bullet Vise - Nicely restored - 3 1/2 Jaws - Light Use
Here is a really nice Wilton No. 835 machinist bullet vise. I was lucky enough to pick up two of these at an estae sale. I went throught both of them and I'll keep one and sell the other. I pretty much stripped it bare metal, pimed and painted with rustoleum machinist gray(a couple of photos make it look a little blue, but it is gray) I re-lubed and here you go. I have now upgraded all of my vises in my little hobby shop to Wiltons and I wouldn't trade them for any other brand I know of. I've had cheap imports and OK US made ones but these are a pleasure to use. Miniature Cast Iron Machinist Vise SHIELD
This is a miniature machinist vise with jaws measuring 1 1/2" across. The vise measures 3 3/4" long. The screw that is used to clamp to the table does not appear to be original. Everything else is complete and there are no missing or broken parts. The handle used to tighten the jaws is bent but slides through the hole easily. The jaws tighten securely but there is a gap on one side after they are tightened and I can slide a piece of paper half way through. The only mark I can find is a shield on the side. This is a heavy duty machinist vise from Charles Parker. It is a model no. 41. It has patent dates of May 23. Nov 26, Dec 10& 17 1867 and Apr 14 1869. The years are not clear but from the best I can tell, these are correct. The vise weighs almost 55 pounds. The jaws are 4 1/2" across. The screw is in excellent condition and the jaws tighten securely. The complete vise measures around 18" long. The base for attaching does not swivel and is 7" across. There is a single bolt down the middle to secure it to the bench. I do not see any missing or broken parts. I will ship via UPS but will also offer free pickup. Following are all the details about the sizes of the different pieces. The tapped holes in the v-block are 5/16"18 and a screw starts from both sides and goes half way in but not thru. V-block measures 1.282"x1.829"x3.709" 4) parallels exactly the same measure.437"x.5"x4.04" The two holes in the parallels are.218" DIA. Or 7/32 drill with a counter bore for a possible screw(not intended to bolt to v-block) Could use a 3/16 screw for setup purposes although. There is a 45 degree setup wedge.
