Vintage Dumore Hand Grinder CAT. No. 121 w/STACO 500B Variable Speed Switch Works Good. The grinder makes a high pitch squealing noise which seems to vary but not to much more then modern grinders. I think it would have more of a constant squeal if it was used regularly because if quieted down a quite a bit after a minute of use. Seems to turn nice We don’t have the chuck wrench for the grinder but the chuck moves effortlessly. Small chuck. I would say ¼” maybe. Also Variable Speed Switch is working great. BUT, best of all.the very hard to find Dumore Ball Bearing Oil can is included. This can has some wear, but has no dents. The original paper surrounding the can is intact, but has some spots and faded in some areas. Both original caps are included. This is a 1/14 HP model and I'm sure it's best adapted to your 10" and smaller lathes. The only flaw is the exterior cracking of the electrical cord at the motor entry. This original cord has an in-line on/off rocker switch and separate ground wire. A local vocational trade school has closed its machine shop program. The central machine shop as well as the smaller satellite shops are in the process of liquidating the tools and machinery. Offered here is an assortment of small Grinding Wheels that had been intended for use on one of the DuMore Tool Post Grinders. Most of them appear to have never been used but they had been in storage for a while so I am representing them as being in used condition. This is the last of the wheels from a small shop that was closed and has been emptied and cleaned. So these wheels are being sold as a lot. From what I can see they should be worth the hundred bucks.

RISE PRINT STRAIGHTENER 1920-40 DUMORE motor
Up for your consideration is a RISE PRINT STRAIGHTENER 1920-40. I believe it had something to do with photography. It was manufacured in Rapid City. South Dakota with a Patent date of April 17.1923. It is made of cast iron frame– a DUMORE electric motor turns a pulley that drives a canvas belt through a roller used to flatten photographic prints after they come out of the drier. It is very old– almost antique. There is some rust on the canavas– might be able to be cleaned.It does work. The motor turn s very fast. I did not hook up the belt will the motor was running. I did not want to damage the belt. I will guarantee the motor to work; however. I will place no warranty on it. I believe it to be for the collector. It weighs exactly 24 pounds. Here is a Dumore dual arbor variable speed electric hobby motor. It is in great working and cosmetic condition. It is a 115 volt. 8 watt motor, type C, serial# A33639, made in Racine, Wisconsin. It has a triple pulley on one side and I am not sure what the other end is made for. Both ends come off with set screws. It was found with the brass pulley and mount shown in the pics.
