This is a Welch Allyn Otoscope& Ophthalmoscope diagnostic kit. All components are in very good condition with light signs of wear. The battery compartment is clean with no issues to report. All components were tested and in perfect operating condition. The unit powers on perfectly and light is visible through the heads. It's a very nice solid unit. The unit operates off of a rechargeable battery(included) The handle doubles as a charger as well. So if you need to charge it, simply unscrew the handle and plug it in any standard outlet! The battery included is a used aftermarket 72200 NiCd battery(3.5v) The battery was purchased recently and should last a while, otherwise no guarantees are made on the battery life. Replacement batteries are inexpensive and readily available online.
