Up for auction we have an interesting lot. First. A Welch Allyn 216 otoscope head. It appears to be quite old and in very good condition. Second, a Welch Allyn 71100 dual charger which seems to be in good condition based on a visual inspection only. Third, a Welch Allyn rechargeable type handle I believe a 71500. The battery is dead in it and there is a little corrosion on the top terminal(see photo- should be able to be cleaned rather easily) Because the battery is dead, I was unable to test any of these, and thus it is listed as parts/not working. It may only need a battery and a cleaning. It may need more. I have no way of testing it. The head attaches and detaches easily from the handle and locks on securely. All optics are clean. All controls move as intended and all heads properly illuminate as expected. Please note that the handle contains a used battery. There are no guarantees on battery life or longevity although during my testing the battery charged up and was able to operate all of the included heads with no issue.
