David Lien has in Vienna studying and has for some decades a violin-maker Studio in Taipei. He uses only the best old air-dried wood. Partly from old demolished homes. Wishnevsky Spruce top and back Mandocello, Great Sounding. Piezo pickup
This was a guitar. But i made it into a Mandocello. It is at least three years old as a guitar and four or five months as a Mandocello, neck is straight and solid. 25.5" scale. Back and top are thirty year old Spruce, not perfect, but has great tone. The Spruce back gives it lots of bass. Neck has two Purpleheart stringers and a Poplar core, and Spruce sides. Spruce is the stiffest wood for weight there is, and this monster rings like bell. Sides are African Mahogany. Or Sapele. Bridge and part of the tailpiece are Ebony, i think the pickguard is Peach. Lacquer finish. Volume control, two strap buttons, side dots. Jumbo frets, Jatoba fingerboard. Ready to play. Very loud and still sweet. Compare to a thousand dollar instrument. Gibson G40 Amp, 70s Solid State, One Channel - ultra clean sounding amp.
Gibson G40 Vintage 70's super clean. One channel, amp 40 Watt 1 x 12" inch speaker This is a great old vintage amp. It really produces a very nice almost pristine clean guitar sound. Unfortunately. It has a couple of glitches. There is a high pitched hiss, which may be associated with a possible grounding problem. It has an old two prong plug. I don't work on amps and so I don't really know what the problem is. Otherwise the amp sounds and functions well. The condition is quite good for an amp this old. There are no tears or problems with the tolex or the nylon cover over the front. It has an amp cover that will go with it. This may be the reason it is in such good shape. I know th people who owned stored it with the cover on. If the couple little issues can be sorted out it may be a really nice, rare find.

i´m selling a wounderfull sounding. RICARDO SANCHIS CARPIO 3AM, flamenca negra guitar. it has a very fine selected(Carpio is known for being very picky about the quality of the woods. In term of looks and sound) spruce top. A cedar neck and rosewood back and sides. od course, all solid woods. it has a very tight grained ebony fretboard and a rosewood bridge. the guitar is crafted with much expense and complexity, very light and stiff. it´s almost unpossible to touch the bridge with your fingernail, without producing a sound. the guitar has great response, is loud and dynamic, with dry, sonor and controlled bass, good balance over the whole register, articulated, clear and loud treble, relative fast attack and a kind of beautiful"built in reverb" the guitar was made in 2003. Wich was just after getting the known problems ... morewith intonation fixed. Carpio had a imperfect sawing tool for the frets, that was changed in the year 2002, i think. i searched the net for prices. But i could not find too much. i found flamencas from carpio with indian rosewood for 6000$ and brazilian rosewood for 8500$. the guitar has been played a lot and has some marks. That i tried to show in the pictures. the neck is straight as an arrow. frets are in best condition. please ask for more information. i filed down the saddle and made nuts for the string to decrease the action and the stringspacing. Because my daughter used the guitar for her studies. perhaps you will need a new saddle, but the Carpio is wunderfull to play, even for jazz, with no buzz and 3mm at the 12th fret at e-string. the strings are old and too thin for my taste, but i think everyone has his own brand and taste and in this priceregion the first thing the new owner does, is change the strings, so i´ll leave the"dead ones" for some tension during the transport. unfortunately i lent the case to a friend and he is anywhere in the world with it. but i will pack the guitar VERY carefully with much crush zone. i love and respect this guitar a l

The initial attack is fairly chime-like(typical for a Medium or Medium-Heavy K) and the proceeding wash is somewhat controlled-but I would not call it dry. It's well-balanced. This Zildjian K 20" Ride is a real workhorse. Obviously it warmer. Up for auction is a vintage. 1960's Teisco electric guitar pickup. This is the first of two of these that I am selling. It was removed from a working guitar and measures the correct 5.64k ohm on my meter. I have had a lot of Teisco's and these pickups are some of the best. Very similar in sound to the fabled gold foil. I actually prefer the way these look, kind of like a silver P-90. These vintage Japanese pickups just scream! This is a really cool and awesome sounding kit that has been custom painted by a professional furniture restorer guy that i know. Who happens to also play drums. The two mounted toms have also been professionally cut to"quicker" sizes which results in a much brighter livelier punchier sound. The ONLY reason i am selling them at all is that I 1) have too many drums! 2) am getting older and just don't have as many gigs as i use to, so i just have to give some of'em up. These are actually much prettier in real life then the pics show. They have beautiful little fine sparkles in the finish(mouse over and enlarge pic# 6) The Tom brackets are nice DW ones(see pic#3) The Floor Tom Brackets i think are PDP with nice solid legs(pic#4) These drums change a little with the light. They lighten up a little in brighter light- compare ... more1st two pics with last two. Because of this chameleon effect, these look great on stage under lights. Mapex Pro M shells are Maple. These drums are bright, lively and really sing. The Kick is is punchy and huge sounding. Kick drum comes with Evans EMAD and Evens Black ported front head. 12" and 13" toms have clear Remo and Mapex ambasador weight heads. Floor tom has DW(top) and Yamaha clear medium weight heads also. Sizes are 22x16 Bass Drum, 16x16 Floor Tom, 13x6.5 Tom, 12x6 Tom.
