Up for auction is a Enterprise Cast Iron Sausage Stuffer Press. Also great for lard. Wine, fruit and cider. It is missing some accessories but does come with small plate which is marked No. 25 small plate, strainer and strainer plate. It appears to be in pretty good condition. The stenciling is faded and there is some light surface rust. Handle turns properly and gears turn smoothly. Back is marked with#2070 and gear is marked with#2074. I do not how many quarts this is but the container part of the press measures 9" tall and total height including arch is approx. 17" The inside diameter of the stuffer is approx. 6 1/2" The handle will be removed for safe shipping and insurance will be include in your shipping cost for this item. It does have the small plate and the bottom plate and the screen. This has been cleaned and painted and is in very good shape. I think the number 5 was the first two quart made by Enterprise and it is different than the later ones. The handle has some nicks in it as shown. This is marked Pat July 11. 1876. Press part measures 10" tall, approx 6 1/2" across. total height is 24" handle and gears work freely. I started to clean up-you can tell where I stopped. Very nice piece with the spout/filler. Here for auction is an early Enterprise Press. I believe this was used for sausage stuffing. And a price for cider, wine, grapes as well as processing duck and lard. The press has patent dates of 1876 and 1883. I am not certain of the size but believe it to be a 1 gallon or so. It measures approximately 27" tall. The handle turns the gear nicely and believe that with a little cleanup will be a completely useable press. Up for auction is an antique 4 quart Enterprise sausage stuffer/ fruit press in very good condition. It comes with all the parts shown in the pics. It has been sand blasted. Primed and painted satin black with gold lettering. It has 2 patent dates of 1876 and 1883. There are no breaks or repairs anywhere on the cast iron. The wood handle has been cracked and repaired with epoxy and seems solid. The crank turns freely with no issues and the gears are in good shape. The inside was sand blasted but not painted.

Excellent Original Sausage Stuffer with Great Art 8 Qt No 35 Enterprise This is a very beautiful Sausage Stuffer with nice original art. I have not seen this flower pattern in a long time. You don't want to miss it. Different than most. It has been thoroughly cleaned, including the shaft with a wire wheel, the feet were rusted have been repainted. The external has all been clear coated to prevent corrosion and enhance beauty. The inside has a bees wax applied to it and has most of the original paint. The shaft has been completely cleaned with a wire wheel, not bead blasted and has been coated in a thin beeswax as well. This machine is beautiful and works smoothly and brings a nice homey charm. I prefer this to the ones that are completely refinished, plus you can't reproduce this art. The screen has been polished and the strainer ... moreplate is in pretty good condition. I do not have a small plate for it, these you can get for about 30.00 all day long on ebay. The threads that hold the plate on are in very good condition and not sloppy or stripped as is sometimes the case. The brass ring on the handle has a split in it. This is not important. ANTIQUE SIMMONS HDWE ST LOUIS 4 QT. FRUIT & LARD PRESS SAUSAGE STUFFER 1897
We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique sausage. Lard and fruit press. On one side at the top in embossing it has SIMMONS HDWE. CO. INC. ST. LOUIS. U.S.A. This is a company that made Keen Kutter Products. On the other side in the same area it has PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1897. The item is in good useable condition. It has been treated with PAM cooking oil as a preservative. The press comes with both plates, the small and large. The small plate is used when pressing fruit. The main barrel body has the lift out screen and also the bottom cast iron vented hole plate. The large plate is for pressing sausage or lard. When you crank the hand operated handle the gear mechanism presses the plate down into the barrel or when you reverse the handle cranking it brings the plate up to the top. There is a lever to unlatch the bottom part on ... morethe right side for access into the barrel. There is a metal tube which attaches to the bottom part of the press for use in stuffing a sausage tube. This tube has a small ½” circular dent. The press is in good condition with some of the original gold pin stripping. There are 2 old repairs done in brass rod welding which is the proper way to repair cast iron. We have photoed those areas. There are 4 legs that could be screwed down to a board or table top if so desired. With everything turned down into the main body it stands 17 ¾” high by 9 ½” wide not counting the handle. It weighs 31 ½ lbs. and is a 4 quart size. I have up for sale wonderful antique patent dated 1897 National Specialty Mfg Co 4 quart Cast Iron Sausage stuffer/ wine press. It comes with both the small and large press plates. The strainer plate and basket, spout horn and holder. There is one additional part that I have not seen before, its some sort of fastening device but I am not sure how it was intended to be used. Firstly the stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repaints, the stencil and paint is original and in great shape, the only wear to the paint to speak of is located on the lower front of the tub near and around the tub's hole. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly as well. You may need to clean the interior of the tub prior to use. This is a very easy stuffer to clean because the tub removes so easily. Much easier ... morethan an Enterprise. I am not sure what the function of the latch has, it does not hold anything from moving so I do not understand what its intended usefulness is. I have an up close view shown in one of my pics. The stuffer stands approx 17" tall with the screw all the way down. It weighs well over 30 lbs. I will package with great care. I completely broke this down and gave it an electrolysis cleaning and gave it a light seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet. This is a#6 press which is a little more rare because all you see is 4's and 8's. There are no breaks. Cracks or repairs done to this press. This is usable or for someone's collection. I have up for sale wonderful antique circa early 1900s Landers. Frary, Clark UNIVERSAL 8 Quart Sausage Stuffer/ wine, fruit, lard,cider,press. It comes complete with all the accessories: both the large and small press plates, strainer basket and bottom plate, horn spout and lock nut,etc. This is a Top of the Line Outfit, none nicer than this model. Its all original and in just superb shape. The small plate is approx 7-7/8" and the large plate approx 8-1/8" the small one fits inside the basket, obviously the larger one does not. The stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repairs, etc-the paint appears to be original and is in great shape. There is some normal minor light wear as one would expect but overall its a dandy. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly. This is a very easy ... morestuffer to clean because the tub removes so easily. All you have to do is unlock the side latch and spin it out. I would advise screwing the feet down on a nice solid wood board, to make the base less tippy. This is a big and heavy piece. It weighs approx 51 as you see it. I will package with great care. Up for auction is an 8 quart cast iron antique Enterprise sausage stuffer/ fruit press. It has 2 patent dates of 1876 and 1883. There is nothing broken. Chipped, cracked or repaired. The crank operates smoothly from top to bottom. It comes as shown in the pics with no other attachments or parts. Any attachment you might need can be found on eBay. This is the 1 model of Cider/Duck Press made by Enterprise Manufacturing Co. Out of Philadelphia. The model is marked with a patent date and another date: April 10, 1883 and July 11 1876. Has that nice used appeal of an antique model and lots of character to it. This comes with the sausage stuffer attachments. No damage that I can see. Some light corosion here or there as shown, but most of the detail of the gold band is still there on the base of the press.

You are viewing a Rare Antique 4 Qt. National Sausage Stuffer Lard/Wine Fruit Cider Press Complete. This was bought at an estate auction. From what the family says she was 93 and bought this when it was brand new, she had past in 2013 so she would have been born in 1920. I broke this completely down and gave it a good electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in this piece and I gave it my own little touch on the decor. This is a complete set. National was a branch off of the Enterprise in 1897, it was believed that one of the employees from Enterprise wanted to simplify the sausage stuffer apart from The Enterprise way of manufacturing. Hence the bucket being removable which made it easier to clean, but the basic concept of it is the same as the Enterprise. The back side it period correct for this piece the front side is period correct stencil for this piece it did not come this way I made it this way giving it the best of both worlds. Antique 4 QT Cast Iron Enterprise Fruit, Lard, Wine Press, Sausage Stuffer 1876
For your consideration is a fully functioning antique cast iron Enterprise Mfg Co. 4 quart sausage stuffer. Or press. Parts include a press plate, strainer basket, strainer plate, and press. This was an estate find over 10 years ago and has been carefully stored until now. The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. The lettering design of this press is unique in that the letters were not pressed into the iron like most of the of their units. Rather the letter is free standing adding a unique and artistic design. This device is fully functioning. The gears and handle easily turn, and it easily opens and closes. The metal has great patina. The black wood handle is in great condition with no cracks. There is a small crack on the inside of the ... morecast which is why the repair strap was added. Here is a complete vintage cast iron press. This is in very nice original condition. I am not sure of the quart size. But it is 14" in height. Cranks and turns very easily. The threaded rod is very nice shape also with no rust. The old original box it was in was mailed in from Minnesota during 1958 is also included.
