Up for your consideration is a Vintage Dayton Hobart Scale Manufactured by the Dayton Scale Division of The Hobart Manufacturing Co In Troy Ohio USA I believe this scale is from the 1940s and was probably used at a meat or deli counter It is style#6663 and has the serial# 1170726 it is a 110 volt and 100 watt machine This scale weighs to 18# It does light up although I think a bulb may be loose or burned out The scale weight chart does spin freely There are some chipped areas on the porcelain. Enough to add character but not so much to be a distraction The construction is cast iron with porcelain enamel overlay We have cleaned it some but it may need some fine tuning to really make it sparkle There are some scratches on the weigh plate This scale weighs in somewhere around 100#s we believe.
