Never really used it. It was just for look. Would love to see it end up in a Candy shop or Country Shop. Not really sure about the two separate places of Origin. It says made in Belgium on the base of the scale and also on the small removable tray that you use to weigh your product. I am not an antique dealer, but have been collecting for years. This one is actually made to the same pattern as the 98/05"Butcher Blade" bayonet. But of rougher manufacture, and an all metal pommel, width of blade is same at ricasso out to where it tapers at the tip, does not widen out at the end. Blade has some light corrosion, and cutting edge has some nicks, release catch is frozen. Scabbard is a standard 98/05 type, verygood condition, no dents. Nice old Wade& Butcher"For Barbers Use" straight razor. The blade appears full length and measures 5 1/2" It is 7/8" wide at the tip. Probaby was 1" or more when new. Overall length of the razor closed is 6 1/2" The original Cow Horn handles are in excellent condition, there is one bug bite on the back side and there is wear at the pivot point from being grasped between the fingers for over 100+ years! Bead blasted, primed, and given 2 coats of a period correct satin black enamel finish. The dispenser and string holder have been mounted on a red oak base and given a rich reddish/brown hand rubbed wood oil finish, period correct hardware was utilized during the final assembly. The cutter bar has been adorned with tasteful gold accents. This item will be shipped with a fresh 30 inch long roll of white paper and a fresh cone of store wrapping string. This auction is for an antique vintage"Noxall 18" gift wrap roll paper cutter. The man I purchased this from said it was from his parents general store and they used it for gift wrapping. It still has alot of the original black paint. And still has a good straight cutting edge. The holes in the top wood bar were drilled for the wrapping ribbon spools. The cutting bar has a few nicks on the TOP back side, which does NOT effect the cutting edge(last photo) The cutter measures 22 3/4" wide by 11 3/4" high, and the paper roll slot is 20" wide. This is a 6353/1905 pattern knife. This is the pattern that was in use during WWI and were continued to be made up to the late'30s, around 1938/9 I think? This one was made by Wade& Butcher, Sheffield in 1936. This came from my great aunts estate. Along with a set of civil war spurs I have on eBay as well. Santa Cruz Butcher Large L Frame Frameset All Mountain AM 150mm 6" Travel RED
Selling a used but not abused LARGE Santa Cruz Butcher Frameset in Red. I'm the second owner and have loved riding this bike. But it's simply too much bike for me for the riding I do. I'm 6'1 with a 32" inseam for reference on sizing. The frame has the typical usage signs like scuffs and scratches here and there. Some cable rub and some shoe rub by the pivot. Nothing major and is par for the course of a used mountain bike. I see no dents or dings anywhere. The frame travels super well in it's motion. The Monarch RC3 Plus is in excellent working condition as well. The only"weird" thing is that the shock shaft looks to be partly discolored/blotchy on the drive side. But the shaft itself is slick. Besides that, it holds just air fine and cycles like it should. No complaints at all. The front headtube is tapered. ... moreThe Cane Creek Forty headset is included. Bottom Bracket is 73mm so fits your standard external cups. The rear accepts standard QR dropouts. I ran a 135x10 thru axle perfectly fine.The QR Santa Cruz seatpost collar is included as well. Up for auction is a great 1915 dated German butcher bayonet. The bayonet is in nice shape. Its well marked WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM& CLE SOLONGEN. The grips are wood and have no chips or cracks. The scabbard has some rust from years of bad storage, the bayonet measures 20 3/8 inches long with a blade that measures 14 3/8 inches. WWI GERMAN 98/05 MAUSER BUTCHER BAYO-WEIMAR REISSUE W/ BLUED BLADE
Very good condition original WWI Imperial German 98/05 Mauser butcher bayonet that is clearly manufacturer marked WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM on the blade and dated 1917. Bayonet was reissued to the newly formed Weimar Republic after the war as evidenced by the arsenal blued blade. Which was done as part of the reissue. Blade retains most of the original blue metal finish and was never sharpened. Remaining metal finish is also blue with a little brown and gray. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit, lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original all steel scabbard that has black painted finish showing very little wear, no dents. A good example of this classic WWI bayonet for your collection.
