Dress Form Mannequin Clothes Sewing Adjustable Iron Base Vintage The listing is for a vintage adjustable dress form. I have had this for a little over twenty years and purchased it from a shop in a little town on Lake Michigan. I would guess that it is at least from the 40's and maybe older. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. The scarf was on this when I purchased it and was made in Italy it will come with the form. Please look at the pictures so you can decide ... moreif this will work for you. It has buttons up and down the front and back that allow the form to be adjusted to different sizes. The tag is fragile but still in tact. The rods that are supposed to hold the form in place are missing and it currently just hangs from the bar across the neck. Some of the tabs holding the wire together are corroded. The form is on a metal stand that has four feet. It is not terribly difficult to adjust however there are a few of the adjustment components that are difficult to adjust. Overall. Most of them work easily. The form is very easy to raise and lower with the manual adjust. Over all looks clean and un tattered but upon closer look you can find things.I've tried to picture everything that would be considered a flaw while also showing off this absolutely amazing vintage dress form. Antique Vintage Old female Dress Form Display Mannequin torso Adjustable
Here is an old display torso adjustable from about 3" to 4" You could make it taller by getting a longer pole if you wanted. The torso is covered in black muslin that looks like it has some age to it(stains. Sun faded in areas, some minor wear here and there) The base platter appears to be a dense particle board and the spindle appears to be painted oak judging from the grain pattern. This would be great for displaying clothing, jewlrey, etc.

My beautiful Stockman mannequin, came to me with a damaged cover but rather than completely recover her(and lose the wonderful detail& Stockman logo) I decided to embellish her with a number of antique, cotton doilies which have been hand sewn on. They match the colour of her cloth perfectly and cover up some of the damage, whilst adding some wonderful texture to her. The papier mache body is completely sound and intact. The stand is a beautiful warm hazel colour which has had some dreaded woodworm damage but these have been treated to be on the safe side. I believe she dates from around the the 1930s. Grandma's, one-half(1/2) scale, dress or sewing form that could also be used as a display of an upper torso mannequin. This dress form or mannequin has a wood, removable top that I believe is walnut as the underneath is not painted as is the top. The top portion of the removeable wood is painted with what looks to be black lacquer, as this is the type of paint that was used years ago. The bust on this mannequin measures approximately 33" in diameter. As you will view in the photos provided, the bottom has a metal piece where it could be set on a stand with a pole.
