Hello, Here is a very vintage hourglass shaped Palmenbergs& Sons Mannequin Dress Form. Almost an antique and a very stunning way to display items. Use for sewing, or just enjoy it's form. In 1924 Emil Theodore Palmenberg patented his dress from in New York(filed May 5th 1923) And this is his Model 1945. The company was recorded as Palmenberg s Sons Inc. and assigned to J.R. Palmenberg's& Sons Inc. which is what the steel base reads. Along with New York) All complete down to each original screw. Tightening screw, wire bottom dress form below the hand sewn cavanaugh. Shows signs of wear only around arms and very tips of the breast cavanaugh. Other than this all complete with steel wheels that roll very nice. Up for sale is this beautiful Shabby Vintage Chic Dress Form Mannequin with Stand. I purchased this at an estate sale. I was told the material it is made from is stone or clay and has some pitting which makes it that much more cool(supposed to be there) It is such a beautiful and shabby chic piece. Dimensions are 24.5 inches tall X 7 inches wide(at it's widest) and sideways or deep it' s approx. 3.5 inches. This can be used as a decorative piece. Which I did for awhile. I put jewelry, tops(I'm small) and even a cowgirl hat on it. Got tons of compliments. I'm moving now and parting with it. I will gaurentee you will not find a dress form this unique. VINTAGE ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE DRESS FORM LADY MANNEQUIN WITH STAND (ACME???)
First I would like to tell you I do not know anything about this item. She seems to be in very nice condition. You can see from the pictures the fabric is not tore and is whole free. All of the adjustment wing nuts are there and she does open up some. I closed her up to take pictures. I did find the mount for the adjustment slide of the right breast(left side when looking at her) came loose from the body. I marked this in one picture with blue tape. That is the only flaw I know of. The stand comes in 2 pieces and will be shipped taken apart. I see other listings calling the base cast iron. I would call it heavy bent steel. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if you have them. Sorry. I know the shipping is expensive. This is an oversized package. Hi. Here is a fabulous, vintage, wicker countertop mannequin. It is approximately 3 ft. tall and about 15" shoulder to shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no holes or breaks in the wicker that I can see. The only flaw is the paint job that a previous owner did to the intimate parts of the body. However, it would be covered in most instances with display clothing. It can stand on it's own or it can be hung by the factory woven holes on the left and right sides of the neck. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. Unique Vintage French Stockman Display Mannequin Dress Form c1930s Description Gertie. My beautiful Stockman mannequin, came to me with a damaged cover but rather than completely recover her(and lose the wonderful detail& Stockman logo) I decided to embellish her with a number of antique, cotton doilies which have been hand sewn on. They match the colour of her cloth perfectly and cover up some of the damage, whilst adding some wonderful texture to her. The papier mache body is completely sound and intact. The stand is a beautiful warm hazel colour which has had some dreaded woodworm damage but these have been treated to be on the safe side. I believe she dates from around the the 1930s. Grandma's, one-half(1/2) scale, dress or sewing form that could also be used as a display of an upper torso mannequin. This dress form or mannequin has a wood, removable top that I believe is walnut as the underneath is not painted as is the top. The top portion of the removeable wood is painted with what looks to be black lacquer, as this is the type of paint that was used years ago. The bust on this mannequin measures approximately 33" in diameter. As you will view in the photos provided, the bottom has a metal piece where it could be set on a stand with a pole.
