1936 Korrect-Way Productions Fabric Covered Torso Vintage Mannequin with Stand
Here is a vintage mannequin dress form. This mannequin torso is from 1936. And somehow managed to keep the original sticker! The sticker on the front says'Korrect-Way Copyright 1936 Productions' This dress form is in near perfect condition. There are no rips or snags in the grey knit fabric that is covering the torso. Included with this unique mannequin is a beautifully made stand. This stand is adjustable so it can be used on the floor or up on a shelf. Fully extended, it stands 4 foot 8 inches tall, and fully lowered it stands about 3 foot 5 inches tall. The mannequin itself stands about 2 feet 8 inches tall, from the back. Vintage CHILD MANNEQUIN on Stand 1980s Store Display
Vintage child mannequin with stand. The child is about 30 1/2" long and when the child is attached to the stand it's approx 32" high. The weight of the whole piece. Unboxed, is 10 lb, 2 oz. The base comes apart(helps with storage and shipping) and is 9" square.it is made of iron and quite sturdy. The child is covered with a stretchy, thick cotton type material that should be easy to clean. Not exactly sure what the head is made of.it's not plastic.feels like a kind of composition perhaps. Overall condition is quite good. The body covering has what I believe is light soil in a few places. The head is good but has a few light scuffs to the painted finish and there's one crack.it is a partial crack and the material has not broken off- see the last photo(so you will be able to stabilize the crack if you wish- if it ... morewere me I would apply some clear glue or something so the cracked piece wouldn't break off.just a thought) I believe this may be from the 1970s or'80s. Really cool retro looking styrofoam wig/hat stand. This one has a styrofoam base that is covered with a painted plastic face. You gotta love the painted face on this one. The color on it is still very vibrant. The head looks to be in great condition with only a few pin holes. Measures almost 12" tall x over 6 1/2" base diameter. Name on the back is barely visible, it looks like Plastic Personalities. I show it pictured with a wig, this auction is for the styrofoam head only. I was told the material it is made from is stone or clay and has some pitting which makes it that much more cool(supposed to be there) It is such a beautiful and shabby chic piece. VINTAGE ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE DRESS FORM LADY MANNEQUIN WITH STAND (ACME???)
First I would like to tell you I do not know anything about this item. She seems to be in very nice condition. You can see from the pictures the fabric is not tore and is whole free. All of the adjustment wing nuts are there and she does open up some. I closed her up to take pictures. I did find the mount for the adjustment slide of the right breast(left side when looking at her) came loose from the body. I marked this in one picture with blue tape. That is the only flaw I know of. The stand comes in 2 pieces and will be shipped taken apart. I see other listings calling the base cast iron. I would call it heavy bent steel. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if you have them. Sorry. I know the shipping is expensive. This is an oversized package. vintage full body male mannequin, I am guessing this to be from the late 70's or early 80's judging by the style and the grey speckle over paint which was so popular back then for department stores, previously owned and in significantly distressed condition with damage- not collector quality, has spots on body where the grey paint is flaking off. Has some scratching and may need a repair by upper left back arm(looks as though he may have fallen and cracked the body, he does come with a stand(seems to stand backward a bit and may need to be adjusted-not sure if this is his original stand) hands and arms come off. Right leg which is crossed over twists off, measures approx. 71" tall. Approx. 30" waist area, great fixer upper and perfect for upcycle.
