Lot of 2 Old Antique Carter Dunk 1 Glass Eyes! Both Tough Vintage Fishing Lures
Please look over these 2 old Carter Dunk's wood wooden fishing lures. I have had these 2 ole boys in my collection for a long- long time. Because I believe they are super cool for many reasons. Both have all original clean and sparkly hardware. Both have been used but likely in some attic because of better age& better condition as I found them. The one with NO EYE measures 3 inches. This one is known as"OLE BLACK JOE. It retains its chrome Butt Pin. it also has the old fashioned tie line addition. MY Opinion is that this is the sweetest of the two. The one with unbroken Glass Eyes is also known as a Best Ever"OLE BLACK JOE. It also has its chrome pin. There is a most interesting history on these Indiana-Ohio fishing lures. Mr. Carter obtained his patents in about 1919. It is suspected his later"partner" Mr. Dunkleberger, ... morewas responsible for including glass eyes into these Antique lures. YOU decide. Largest one looks to be wooden. Paint chipped. Has a paint name, but cant decipher. Measures: 4" long. Has scrapes and scuffs. Red stripped is 2 1/2" Yellow stripped is 2 1/2" long. This display includes 11 lures. I am NOT AN EXPERT about these or any Antique lures. I am only selling because I am changing my Fishing Theme Bar walls. MAKE ME AN OFFER. Everything operates well but I'm sure it would be even better if cleaned and oiled on the inside. I'm not qualified to go there. All I've done is wiped the dust off the outside. If I had had a container. I'd tried to sell the Shakespeare Wonder Rod it was attached to. Hope my pictures will answer your questions; however if they don't, please send me an e-mail. This auction is for a Fantastic Vintage AnPabst Blue Ribbion Mirror with Lady and Wide Brim Hat. This is a lightly used item. It is a double serrated knife and it has an etched design of a caught fish coming out of the water as well as the Cutco logo and the model number 1763. The condition of the knife is razor sharp and no damage to the knife. It has the marbled brown and red handle and has a metal butt. The butt has some minor damage as seen in picutre 7. It comes with the original brown leather sheath which is for the belt. As you can see in the last picture, some of the end threads have loosen. There is no original box. This auction is for a 2000 U Umco fishing tackle box with the original 10 year guarantee paper tag. In great shape. This box has the gold metal trim. It looks great on the outside as well as the inside, 9 trays with 76 compartments, 4 of the compartments has a spot where a worm melted to it, and another compartment has a small tear( about 1/4" long) All latches, hinges, and swivels are in super shape, the box doesn't have any cracks. This is a very clean and ready to use box, any fishermen would be proud to have it. This is a very nice Umco box, and the 2000 series is pretty tuff to come by.
