I am offering for sale this Vintage Continental Canvas Head/Hat Form. This item is in really nice shape. There are no water stains or tears and it is still very clean. The form is marked"Continental and Patent. Pend. on the bottom. The form itself is marked 21 1/2 on the neck. It measures 21 inches in circumference and is 12 inches tall from top of head to base. The black strap around the bottom is still clean with no tears and is still well attached. All of the seams are good with no tears. The canvas is super nice. No funny smells! And it has a depth of approximately 2 inches(not including the screw thread) The face of the Man has a diameter of approximately 1 inch, and it weighs around 27 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition, and will make an interesting addition to any similar collection.

VINTAGE HAT MAKER CANVAS HAT MOLD MANNEQUIN HEAD BLOCK MOLD FORM MILLINER This orange head appears to in unused condition. I see no pin holes in it. But there are some dark, looks like ink, marks on it as seen in pics. One strip of the orange fabric is a little lighter than the rest of it, I think that shows up in the pics as well. It measures about 10 1/2" tall and about 21 3/4" around at the widest point. There is a number on the back that looks like a 22 plus maybe a fraction, but I can't make out that part. It has felt eyes and mouth on it, and one corner on each is coming up slighty. I uploaded close up pics of this, but I think they could easily be glued back down.

The top of the mold has small holes that look like a nail was hit into the wood to leave an impression. The holes are not deep. I could not find any markings on the base. The set weighs 4.6 lbs. Unless I’m seeing things you can make out the inlaid steel edge on an iron body making this axe likely from the mid 19 th century or earlier. It has some light pitting and needs to be sharpened. HAT MOLD A great old manufacturing collectible from the 1800's. This is a wooden and brass conformateur hat mold or hat form that was probably made by Maillard although I cannot find any marks on it. It measures 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 2 1/4" tall. All of the little wooden slides are present as well as the key-turns. So seems to be all there.
