As you can see. This head/hat/wig mold is in super excellent condition and has very little discoloring and no pinholes. It has stood up the test of time and was well taken care of by its only owner. It comes as is and seems to have a 22 imprinted on the back(the second number is blurry. So I am not entirely sure what it is) I measured with a tape measure, and it is about 22 inches around. This is a neat hot pink with black silhouette of Twiggy/mod-groovy girl hat/wig carrying case/box/carrier. It has a white styrofoam head form and has a handle and a flip-up enclosure apparatus. The bottom of the case has a bottom flaps to hold the head form in place(I forgot to photo that-sorry) These carrier are great to keeping your wig protected and keeps it in shape with the head form. The case is 12" H(not including the carrying handle) x 8 1/2" W x 9" D and it is in excellent condition without rips. Or stains. The styrofoam has a very small amount of wig pin holes and use but as you can see in the photos, it is in great shape especially for the age. I do believe this is a 1960's carrier. Large Antique Gourd Form Flask C18th CORSICA c1780 MOORS HEAD Silver Gilt Mounts
You are viewing an interesting period flask formed from a gourd and mounted with silver mounts. I believe it can be dated to before 1796 which was the last time the moor's head with uncovered eyes was used on the Corsican flag. It is also possible that this is a relic from the Napoleonic wars. Napoleon himself was Corsican and one of the decoration details on this gourd is of a group of weapons. The gourd is quite large and has been elaborately engraved and filled with indelible ink. Rather like niello work on silver. There are several symbols aside from the black-a-moor and the crown engraved in the flask presumably to do with Corsica including a dog's head and an allegorical figure of the wind. The gourd measures approximately 5 3/4 inches in diameter and is approximately 3 1/4 inches thick at the thickest point. She is 17 inches tall. 8 1/2 by 5 inches across the base, she looks like she had been recently painted but this was how I found her so not sure what she would have looked like originally. This listing contains one vintage Continental hat box. The only marking I could find was on the bottom of the"head form" It is marked"Continental patent pend. The hat box: is green with matching green handle. The zipper has a man on it playing a drum. The very bottom of it isn't flat as it should be. The hardware shows significant signs of wear and has rusty like areas. The inside is a tan color with swirl designs. The wooden piece that is supposed to be attached to the inside has came off. It's the part that holds the head into place/ up. Measures 11 1/4" not including the handle. The head appears to be a cloth material with a white plastic bottom. I think the previous owner has glued the piece that twist into place because there appears to be done type of glue or something there. It has a blue"22" stamped ... moreon side.
