VINTAGE Old sewing dress form has spent many years wearing an old wedding dress. Was most recently used in a retail store setting. This will expand and contract but I do not know if it will do so to accommodate a specific size accurately. The wrought iron stand is sturdy and does not wave. Solid. With onky a bit of wear to the cover as shown at the shoulder. It is aged and uniform in color. I see no damage and it has no bad odor. The sections may or may not adjust ACCURATELY. But I covered this with vintage sewing patterns to give it a more aged look. The top has a cap with a wooden finish and the bottom has an opening for a stand. This is a Vintage 1950's Half Scale Dress Form Mannequin Iron Stand Adjustable Sewing. We are cleaning out our Parent's estate and you are getting this just as we found it stored. So it might need a light cleaning. The torso measures 34" tall to top of knob, 12" shoulders across the front, 23" waist around and 32" bust around. This is adjustable, but we have no idea how it works. It looks like loosen some screw inside and expand to where you need it and retighten the screws. The fabric is showing some wear with a couple of small holes and need to be reattached on small section on the side. The base stand is adjustable up and down. It is painted a dark gray color. The dress form is mounted on a pole and base made of chrome. There is a screw which can be loosened or tightened to raise and lower the dress form. A couple of surface scuffs. 1) on the front lower left side; 2) on the back shoulder. No breaks or cracks in the paper machine. Chrome base and pole have a few scratches and wear on the finish from age and use. This dress form is unsigned. For your consideration is this Antique 1920s Adjustable Dress Form Maker Mannequin ~ Sewing Fashion Display. It has that great antique grungy look to it. Measures approximately 60" tall when the height is fully adjusted. The top and the bottom measure approximately 32" separately. The dress form appears to be made of thick layered ply cardboard paper-like material. The base is cast iron. Great for displaying your fashion and/or fashion accessories. Condition: The dress form has obvious wear ~ please see pictures to judge the condition. It appears to still be fully functional. The dress form has wing nuts and metal plates that are attached from section to section to adjust various parts of the form. Cool piece with so many fashion and designing possibilities.
