I Am Selling Lowell! He Is a Good Man(nequin) I just don't love him anymore: This is a very sturdy. Well made mannequin. I believe the torso is made of a very hard, thick paper composite material. Don't let the word"paper" worry or fool you- Lowell is strong. The base is made of wood, and a stainless steel rod holds the torso. The top(at the neckline) is wood painted black. I believe the cover fabric is nylon. There are three holes in the cover fabric on back, and one hole on the front. The largest one is on the front and it is approx. 1/4" in diameter. Lowell can be anywhere from 4 1/2 feet tall to just under 6 feet tall. The height is very easy to adjust by tightening a wing nut- no tools required. To adjust the height. Up for consideration is a very nice old vintage dress form mannequin. Fully adjustable cloth covered formed body with metal base. Unique design. I haven't seen one quite like this before. The last photo shows underneath and inside how it looks and the bolts that can be adjusted. Little tabs on the outside all over that can be pressed to adjust the size easily. Will easily adjust down and base will fold together for easy storage, or use for a display. Great condition with no tears or breaks. Some discoloration to the fabric as it was partially covered in areas so there is color variation. Looks like the top has a bolt missing which could be easily be replaced. Stylish Small Womens Mannequin Torso with Adjustable Stand Dress Maker Model
Here is a good condition. What I believe to be, petite female torso mannequin with adjustable metal stand. It measures 39 inches tall with stand fully extended. The torso itself is 23 inches tall with a 15 inch wide shoulder, 7&1/4 inch wide waist and an 11&1/2 inch wide hip. The mannequin is made of hard foam with a soft cloth material cover and a laminated wood neck plate as pictured. The inner base where the stand connects is a made to adjust for various heights with an adjustment screw. The base measures 9&7/8 X 9&7/8. Iit weighs about 10 lbs complete. I did a little research and it looks like this mannequin was made for a dress maker to use for fit and finish of dresses but I cannot be sure. Antique/Vintage male form mannequin torso. From early 1900's. It is thick pressed cardboard, fabric covered. It's mounted on wood to an adjustable, chrome plated heavy metal stand, that goes up and down easily with the turn of a metal knob. The mannequin stands evenly on the floor surface, it doesn't rock. It's in very good, clean condition. No major tears, holes or cracks, it does have about 1/2 dozen small holes in the gray fabric, which are a result of use over the years. There is no name brand on this handsome guy. The gray fabric is intact and is not loose anywhere. It's been in a non smoking. Non pet hair, non musty environ. The mannequin torso measures 26" in length. We've had this mannequin in our home for a number of years.we've affectionately named him"Calvin Kline" Since our last name ... moreis Kline.
