L&M Acme Automatic Adjustable Antique Dress Form w Wire Skirt Pat'd 1908 Vintage DESCRIPTION An antique L&M Adjustable Acme dress form in excellent condition. This high quality dress form was well made with a cage skirt and decorative cast iron base with wheels. The top adjusts to larger sizes by turning the knobs on top and the skirt by moving the adjustor along the center rod on the bottom. It also adjusts up and down the rod for desired height. The tags. Wheels, and adjusting knobs are all still in tact and working. One of the braces for the skirt has come off and one thumb screw is missing. The fabric of the form is in good shape with only a few tears and moisture spots. Dress forms like this in good condition are harder and harder to come by! Antique Victorian 1910s Hall-Borchert Dress Form with Cast Iron Base
She's a BEAUTY! I've had this antique dress from in my dressing area for many years. And now she's ready for a new home. I believe(99% at least) that this is a Hall-Borchert Empress model, and the remaining label shows that the year of manufacture is somewhere in the 1910s or earlier. She's in great condition for her age- the level of rusting and patina are better than all other similar ones I've come across. All her parts work- the cage skirt needs a little coaxing to open and shut; she lists and swings around on her pole a little(probably due to one of the casters being uneven) but I think that be fixed or easily worked around when displaying; a few small holes, and a few big ones in the fabric as shown in pics. Very regal stylized shop display mannequin with beautiful stand that slots into piece holding it firm. This is very old and looks to be custom built 27" inches high by 19" arm to arm. Base is 9" inches by 9" brass contoured ribbing on steel upright stand with screw down tightener. Wooden arms work. Pivot works, possibly some restoration needed at left top arm inside joint or leave as is. This piece is easy to move around, adjusts well and slips off easy stand. It is a stunning display piece we had in our Gallery under lights was a show stopper.

Antique 1900's Victorian Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. with vintage two piece school uniform. I believe this piece is complete even the wooden wheels! Having the orginal tag on chest stating Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. New York& Chicago. This information is also molded on each of the cast iron legs! The height is adjustable by turning a knob in the middle of the iron cage and it spins to adjust. Each body section is also adjustable by inside screws. I did not adjust these at all so needs to be secured. There is some condition issues with peeling to the body portion(see pictures) but in all for the age I consider this piece to be very good! This is an Antique Cast Iron base. Fiberglass body Dress Form. It has a cast iron base with rolling wheels marked by the maker, J.R.Palmenberg& Sons, New York. The body is marked J.Beck, 9 F-1 on the bottom of the body. There is a handle on the back of the body that allows you to adjust the body up and down. The base is in very good condition with easily moveable wheels and no rust. The body has a small hole in front at the base of the neck. It could be easily repaired. Fairloom Sears Dressmaker's Mannequin. Sold by Sears Roebuck and Co only. Cast Iron Knob on top that turns to expand the form; adjustable for height; with cast-iron 4 footed base. My mother's much-used dressmaker's mannequin is fully functional with no missing parts. However, there are a few holes in the fabric. Those that are noticeable can be seen in the photos. There is a white spot on the bust and a small hole beneath it. There is also a hole on each shoulder and a couple of other holes that are too small to see in the photos. In addition the Sears label has been ripped and is partially missing. I've used a low starting price to reflect the less-than-perfect condition. The mannequin is boxed and ready to ship. Use as-is for dress-making or disguise the holes with grey marker for display.

NICE!! 1800’s to early 1900’s Antique Vintage ACME Dress form or Mannequin!
Up for your consideration is a nice late 1800’s to early 1900’s Antique Vintage dress form or mannequin that is marked“ACME FORMS” on the base as well as a tag by the neck. This is an Antique or Vintage Dress form and I am not for sure of the year it was made but I have seen similar ones listed as 1900 to 1914. The base is of cast iron and ornate it reads“ACME FORMS” PATD APLD FOR” It has all original arm socket& neck plates as well as a neck finial made of wood. The body is made of OLD paper mache and covered with a very old knit type fabric. This form has the original fabric with a size 36 stamped on the back. THE ONLY THING I AM NOT SURE IS ORIGINAL IS THE PAPER NAME TAG ON THE FRONT. I LOOKS ORIGINAL BUT IT IS SUCH GOOD SHAPE! THERE ARE A FEW WEAR HOLES IN THE FABRIC(PROBABELY FROM PINS) AND A DENT ON THE LOWER BACK OF THE PAPER MACHE ... moreBODY. PLEASE SEE PHOTO WITH WHITE PAPER MARKER FOR LOCATION OF DENT. This is a great vintage dress form. It measures 57" when assembled. The body is made of some type of paper mache with a stretch fabric over it. Here we have a great old skirt form made by the Halls Bazar Form Company in New York. It has a patent date of 1880 on the cast iron base. The form is made of wire and can be adjusted to many different shapes. It seems to be in good working order. The tape measure at the hips is frail and broken- I think there was another tape measure at the top that is now missing. Form will be partially disassembled for shipping. For your consideration we are delighted to make available this truly wonderful Antique child's dress form. Small in size yet large in charm this all original item was created in Paris France in the mid to late 19th century. Its condition is good with the usual wear one might expect in a commercially used dress/clothing form from this period. The lower part of the form is signed( STOCKMAN-PARIS- BREVETE S.G.D.6" as too the hardware is also marked in a similar manner. The cloth that makes up the outer layer of the form itself does have some discoloration and staining about the upper left shoulder and also some pin holes and fabric snags along the breast. DESCRIPTION: c. 1940s fully jointed mannequin hand. This may have been used as a glove form as well. The fingers are narrow and fine. Unlike the chunky reproduction hands currently on the market. This hand has a metal wrist plate which would have attached to the mannequin arm. This hand also stands up on a table as the base is flat. Hard to find the hands with all the fingers fully jointed. Condition is very good, all joints are working, no repairs. One very minor chip in wood at the index finger middle knuckle, you can see in the 3rd photo. Antique Salesman Sample Miniature Dress Form Mannequin Stand Vintage primitive
Gorgeous antique salesman sample dress form. It used to be that salesmen would carry these little forms to display miniature examples of their work so ladies could choose which dresses they wanted made for themselves. When I was in the museum of London. I was intrigued by the many examples of dressmakers' samples in the display cases. I recently came across this sweet miniature form and didn't realize what it was at first! I hope someone will adopt it into their collection and really treasure it! Form stands 18.5" tall. 1880's ANTIQUE MINIATURE FRENCH DOLL DRESS FORM PARIS MANNEQUIN SALESMAN SAMPLE
Just acquired out of a Private Midwest estate. We are able to offer this original late 1800's era ~ STOCKMAN"PARIS FRANCE" MINIATURE DRESS FORM MANNEQUIN ~. This miniature mannequin has been in the same Family estate for over 50 years. It is absolutely adorable and really has a wonderful look. These original early example miniatures are not all that easy to find as I'm sure you are aware of. They could have been used as a salesman sample, displayed in a Victorian French boutique or were sometimes used to make French doll dresses& clothing on. This one here is in 100% all original untouched or cleaned as found condition. It has the original tan muslin covering and adjustable wood base. The size is approximately 22 inches tall and it adjusts another 6 or so inches if desired. The form itself measures 14 1/2 inches tall ... moreby 6 inches wide by 4 inches deep. The over all condition is pretty decent with some staining to the original muslin and the upright portion of the wood base has a crack which was glued quite some time ago"not all that easy to detect" I also see one small tear at the top and there is a little smiley face drawn below the top button, as seen in picture#10. We did not attempt to clean or do a thing to this early mannequin, and will leave that decision up to the new owner. This would make a wonderful addition to your Vintage doll collection or salesman sample collection as well. This dress form is from the Victorian era. The original fabric is in fairly good condition considering the age of the piece. The stand is wooden and so the Dress Form is not heavy. It is small in stature with a beautiful corset waist. This is an adult dress form. The dress form measures 59" tall to the top of the post. The measurements are 32"23"37"

Antique Victorian 1910s S.M. Benjamin Dress Form w/Wolf Adj. Cast Iron Base
From the early 1900's this is a rare collapsible S.M. Benjamin Model 1957 Size 14 Dress Mold. I am NOT familiar with the mechanics of these early forms. But I was told that this is a pretty rare find. There will be some adjusting and restoring to some degree, but I can not say exactly. There is an interal mechanism that depresses the top to some degree when the pedal is pushed on the base. However, I am not certain how well is works. We are selling this unit as shown and as found! Guaranteed old and original. The piece measures approx 56" tall and we will be shipping this in two boxes. Please email us for an accurate shipping quote.
