Seal 110S Dry Mounting Press EXCELLENT +++ CONDITION Bienfang D&K
Seal 110S 12x15 dry mount press in excellent. Near mint condition. These are now sold under the Bienfang or D&K name and are $1200 new, but it's the exact same thing. This one has seen extremely little use and was part of a private home darkroom. Never used commercially or institutionally. Adult owned and cared for. Only used infrequently to flatten fiber-base prints. The platen is pristine and heats evenly. The rubber pad is firm, clean and not worn at all. The exterior is excellent with only a little dust from sitting around unused. Works perfectly, looks new, built like a tank. Extremely clean and well preserved. This is as close to new as you could hope for, but at a fraction of the cost. I got this thinking I was going to build a new darkroom years after going completely digital, but I've lost my love for printing. Downsizing ... moreand don't have room to build a darkroom now. Selling my remaining darkroom equipment. Archival washer, enlarger lenses, and other goodies will be posted. Please check out my other auctions) The press can be used for flattening prints. This machine is in Like New condition(seen in pictures) The matte does not have holes or wear. The lights work. The machine heats evenly. It is not missing parts and it is not wobbly. Some of the screws may show a little bit of natural rusting and the top has some scuff marks. It is also very heavy and a heavy-duty piece of equipment. I have recently moved and lost my darkroom/use for it. These machines are $1.200 + new, but I need to sell it so I am willing to take a little bit of a loss on it.
