Here is a vintage one pint Motor Cure oil additive can. The top has been removed. It is 4 1/2 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across. It is in pretty good shape with nice bright(metallic) color and clear graphics. It does have a couple of stains near the top of the can and a small crimp between the letters OT on the front. Judging from the auto and truck shown on the can I would guess it is from the 1950's. Buyer to pay $3.85 shipping. Payment must be made within 7 days of end of bidding. You are viewing a very unique display piece. Although its obviously an outboard motor from(guessing) 50's And its also a sculpture and in my opinion a work of ART. Its A Neptune engine made by the Muncie Gear Works. Muncie, Indiana. It has recently has been meticulously been taken apart, cleaned and polished to a bright finish. Very work intensive. Its stunning to see. All the various parts. the carburetor, controls, spark plug, gas tank, shafts, propeller. are now visually interesting to look at in their technical complexity. The various materials: aluminum, steel, copper, brass. make a beautiful assemblage. It has seen its days on the water and can now be displayed as shown in the pics or on a table, book case nook. use your imagination. It is supported by a custom built steel stand an painted matte black. It is easily removable with ... morethe screw lever mechanism. It can be set at an angle, as shown in one of the pictures, by inserting a small dowel or some such object in the series of round holes. Most of the metals are high polished but there are some expected blemishes and dings from use as an outboard in its former life which add character and realism to the sculpture. It stands 35 inches high, about 14 inches front to back, and about 6 1/2 inches wide. It weighs about 22 pounds, with 12 lbs. for the engine and 10.lbs. for the stand. Up for your consideration is this very nice. All BRASS, boat motor propeller. It is made by'Michigan' and has the model AM 200 stamped on the base. It is in very nice vintage condition with no cracks of breaks, and just a few minor blemishes, less than one would expect. See pictures) It has a 3-1/2" radius from the center of the reciever hole to the edge of a blade, so it would have a full 7" propelling circle.
