This large stainless steel heat exchanger is from a Laars Rheos + natural gas 2.6 million btu boiler. This part is identified as the condensing heat exchanger on the part list. The tubes are 1 inch in diameter and have finns and is made with 40 tubes 26 1/2 inches long. The overall dimensions are: 31 1/2 inches wide x 27 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches deep. The 2 inch inlet and outlet threads are good. I do not see any damage but it is sold as is. Shell and tube heat exchanger made in Japan
These units came off of a plastic injection molding machine made in Japan I cannot read the label and I lost the only label that I could read while trying to clean it. the end cap says KAMUI. They are 2 pass units and oil ran on the shell side and water on the tube side. There is a little rust in the tubes but it is surface rust that can be cleaned. I purchased 8 of these but only used 4 of them and had no problems with the 4 that I used. 18 tubes 9 per pass and the diameter is 10mm or.400 thousands. The end caps are"O" ringed. The inlets and outlets are 3/4 standard pipe thread. The model# is LCA 310 P15. I have 3 of these. The price is for 1. Plate Heat Exchanger(chiller) made in Germany by a company called GEA WTT GmbH. I have two of these chillers and no longer need this one. This is actually an extremely rare heat exchanger(chiller) that you can't purchase individually. I received these directly from the company because of a connection. I'm not even sure what to price this thing at. It's very efficient at cooling. I used it for home brewing beer and was able to chill my wort from 220F to 67F using a pump at full flow. It's 12 pounds and has plenty of plates(I counted 40 total plates but does that mean it's a 20 plate? Not sure. It's seems to be engineered towards small scale commercial brewing rather than home brewing but it works great for the small timer. All 4 inlet/outlets are 3/4" NPT. This has the same surface area as a Blichmann Therminator, and I am selling it at half the price. 1/2" npt connections on the wort in/out.
