The pump features an alternative inlet connection position at the side of the pump so that overall installation height can be reduced to a minimum when required. The interstage version features an additional pumping port to provide a rough vacuum for auxiliary duties. Supplied with: Ultrgrade 15 oil. NW O-ring, centering ring, 2 Allen keys and spare seals for oil drain and filler plugs. Technology This is a two stage oil sealed ... morerotary vane pump which has a pressurised oil system that lubricates the pump shaft bearing surfaces and rotor sealing faces. The pump has an oil distribution valve which prevents discharge of oil to the pump interior(suckback) after the pump stops. The pumping chambers are air-tight. Vacuum pump 2 stage 10 cfm RV12 Edwards TESTED This is a used two stage vacuum pump made by Edwards. Model RV12. Pump was tested with an vacuum gauge and after 15 minutes it pulled a vacuum of 5x10-3 Torr. We noticed that if the pump was powered up with the vacuum gauge attached it would take a few minutes to achieve the pictured vacuum level. If the pump was powerd up with an open inlet port, and then the gauge was placed on the port it would achieve the level much faster. Pump is in good condition with some scratches and the fan cover has a crack in it. High vacuum/high throughput selector, Three position gas ballast selector, This unit was tested.
