Removing the top plug enables you to prime the pump. Removing the bottom plug allows you to remove remaining water from the housing. But frankly. The pump's weight is so low that you can simply tip it to drain the pump housing. Your choice entirely. It is rated to move 60 cubic meters of water per hour. That's 15.850 gallons per hour! Its pump section is formed from machined aluminum castings which allows excellent pump size while minimizing weight compared to cast iron pumps. This complete unit. Including 6.5 horsepower engine. Recent Estate find. Cornelius 32-r-1505 in the box. In awesome condition. Look at the pictures. This item was probably run once or twice to make sure that it worked. Very good compression. Comes with everything in the pictures including the original registration card and instructions. This is the closest thing to NOS. The compressor comes with the original box in poor condition with particle board inserts and original boxes for the small parts. Take a look at the belts! They still look new! Includes a factory extra belt. There is light wear to the gray paint from being moved around in the garage. The decals and metal tag on the Power Products engine are mint. The spark plug rubber is also mint. The accessories are in mint condition and included are two original half pint Cornelius oil cans(mostly empty) Even the inside of the gasoline tank ... moreis awesome. The brochure says 1957 and states that this compressor is for scuba equipment. This is a great vintage piece in unheard of condition. Now is the time to upgrade your collection.
