Old heavy duty pedestal V belt drive bench grinder. Has ball bearings with a grease fitting on top, pedestal is 9 1/2" high, base is 4" X 5" weighs 9 lbs, 3/4" shaft is 4 1/4" long on the threaded end, pulley could be driven from either side of the pedestal, there are some numbers on the inside of the frame shown in the last picture also there is a 1/2" hole through the arm near the base that runs upward at about 10 degrees don't know what its purpose is. Hi. This is Don. I removed this fender banjo from a very old grinder that was 10" stone. 1 hp, 440v, 3ph. It had a label that said, Hisey" but I noticed the fenders were of the exact same construction as my antique 8" Cincinnati grinder, so I'm assuming that these parts may fit the Cincinnatis as well. I don't see any breaks, cracks, of damage to this part, and the pinch bolt thread looks good. This is the only banjo I have, looks like it will fit either side. One photo shows the banjo on a fender, the fender is not included, it is for bid on another listing.
