This sander is model# 6101 and it comes from the"Heavy Duty" line of vintage B&D tools that had a solid steel housing. Although this sander has been used. It still works great. It has a 7.0 AMP motor and is capable of producing 4500 RPM. These sanders were definitely built to last and are almost indestructible.
