Lot of Old Vintage Glass Door Knobs This is 5 doorknobs. 4 of them are attatched in sets. They're in good, vintage condition. All five are clear glass. And in the same pattern- the 12 points with the slightly raised centre. Two are attached together on their"stems" They have brass hardware. Which is tarnished. The doorknob on its own has very rusty hardware. There are no chips or cracks. But one doorknob has a few small dots of pink paint. These pieces are about 5" long. Here is a lot of 18 old knobs that were carefully removed from a house that was built in the late 40's. There are 7 glass sets that are complete with hardware and 2 brass plated sets that are marked Yale. The latch sets are not all the original ones. There are 2 that are different. The glass knobs themselves are in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and obviously the brass has tarnished.The 2 brass plated ones are in good original condition(latch sets marked Yale) They show there age patina for sure with a few light scratches and discoloration. Antique Glass Door Knobs with Brass Plates - 7 Knobs
Antique Glass Door Knobs Lot of 7 glass knobs. Included: 7 knobs. 6 plates. Note 6 of these have same brass fitting with detail, the 7th knob has a different brass more basic brass fitting- please see image pointing this out. Condition: Spindles are attached(jammed) on two of these. However, I did not put great effort into detaching them(figured prying them off may damage glass) Metal parts are pure brass. Door plates are also pure brass. No chips in glass. These are obviously old. I'm guess 1940's, so the naturally come with wear and tear, a little paint. Please note screws that hold knobs onto spindles are not included except for the one different knob attached to spindle- in this case. The hex screw spins and will not surface. More to come. Lot of 13 extremely rare vintage Victorian doorknobs. These glass"crystal ball" style knobs are the rarest and are in great shape. There are scratches on some as pictures show and a couple have deep scratches as well which I have shown. It is possible to polish these out. The wood appears to be mahogany and it has a dark finish. There is a beautifully carved crown on the hutch above the server. The hutch has 3 doors all of them have locks and a key. The 2 side doors are paneled with small floral carvings to match the crown. The center door has beveled glass that appears to be original old glass. There are ... moreno breaks. Cracks, chips or scuffs on the glass. There is an adjustable shelf inside the hutch doors. The lower center back of the hutch holds a beveled edge mirror. The mirror is in great condition too with no chips, cracks or breaks. The top of the buffet server is ivory marble and in great shape. There are no chips, cracks or breaks that I can see in the marble. The corners of the marble are rounded and smooth and the top surface is smooth to the touch. The buffet has 3 paneled doors and 2 dovetail drawers all have locks and a key. We have 3 keys to this piece. The keyhole plate is missing from the front of the right side lower door. This piece is very elegant. The corners of the hutch and server are reeded and carved with flowers that match the crown. The front feet are reeded bulb style. We purchased this piece from a couple that bought it in Holland and had it shipped to the US for their home. We also have a set of dining chairs from Holland so be sure to check out our other listings in our eBay store for details on it. Antique Octagonal Milk Glass Door Knob
Antique octagonal milk glass door knob. This is an excellent example of the type. There are no scratches on the glass and absolutely no chips or cracks. The nickel plating in great condition for its age but does show a little wear as noted in the photos. It was previously painted. But the paint has been carefully removed. The knob is firmly anchored to the base with no slack or looseness whatsoever. The internal threads are clean. I unfortunately do not have the original screw, but the threads are common and can be replaced easily from any hardware store. Antique Victorian Walnut Bookcase Tall Double Glass Door Bookcase or Display
This is an exceptional great walnut bookcase in original finish. This double door bookcase has raised beveled panels and shaped windows in the frames. The crest has a nice turned finial with fine carving. This wonderful crest will come off when moving. The drawers have dovetailed joints. The shelves are trimmed with walnut the secondary wood is a pine. Definitely made in the American Victorian Renaissance Style or the Circa 1870's. This cabinet measures a 119" Height, the base is 63" width, the top is 66" wide, 23" Depth, the inside is 10" depth. The shelves are adjustable. Nebraska residents pay 7% sales tax. VERY OLD ANTIQUE EXT ENTRY DOOR WOOD TEXTURED GLASS PANES RED & GREEN 35 x 80
ITEM DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a very old antique wooden entry door. Exterior that measures approximately 80 1/2" tall, 35 1/4" wide and about 1 1/2" thick. It is a very cool old looking door. It has glass panes(13 all together) a large textured frosted like glass in the middle and red and green glass panes around that, 6 larger red panes and 6 smaller green panes) It is a pretty heavy wooden door and the wood itself could use some tlc. The glass panes are in excellent condition, no cracking or chipping. It is missing most of the hardware but does have a skeleton key back plate attached to both sides of the door. I dont' know much about doors so I don't know if it is Victorian style or not. It would be a very cool and unique entry door for your fixer upper project. This is a wood oval beveled glass entry door. I measures 31 3/4" x 78 1/2" x 1 3/4" It has a 1 1/4" oval beveled glass window. It is painted on the exterior side and has never been stained or painted on the interior. It is in good overall condition with typical dings for its age. It does not come with hardware. The hardware is being sold in a separate auction. The door was originally set installed with surface hinges and has a right hand swing. Here is a great old painted entry door w/glass that was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's or 30's. All of the hardware is included: 3) surface-mounted hinges and complete lockset(minus key) This type of door is really not well-suited for exterior use. They were typically found inside of a covered porch or entry as this one was. The glass pane is fully intact with no cracks or breaks. It is flat glass with no bevels or ornamentation. Both sides of the door are painted, one side is white and the other has a faux-finish that's supposed to look like wood. There are a few nicks and gouges throughout, but these could ... moreeasily be addressed if the door was to be painted. There is also what looks like a longitudinal crack on the bottom rail(it shows on the white side, see pics) as well as a crack near the bottom of the latch-side stile(see pics) The lockset is complete. Vintage Victorian Glass French Door Window 62" VINTAGE Vintage Victorian Glass French Door Window 62" Up for your viewing is a nice glass victorian like french door or window. It has 12 glasses. One is cracked. It measures 27 1/4" wide, 62" tall, and 1 1/4" thick. Each glass panel measures 7" wide and 13" tall. It looks like this door may have been painted, there is some white on the glass. 30"x84" Antique Interior Swinging Birch Door 12 Divided Windows Wavy Glass Lites
Penn Antique Restoration. 30"x84" Antique Interior Swinging Birch Door w/ 12 Windows. Lovely. Antique interior swinging door salvaged from an Historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core with 1/8" thick birch veneers and 12 wavy glass lites. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Although there are 12 windows. Only 10 wavy glass lites are installed. Unfortunately, 2 glass lites are missing. We could either custom cut new pieces from our collection of old glass. Or we could order new glass lites(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install them- email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped ... morewith any hardware. However. W e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store. And tons more in our physical store. If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood.see"Modification" below. Condition: On one side. The top of the hinge stile is chipped. The bottom of the lock stile is chipped. The pivot hinge mortise has a break in it on both sides of the door. On the other side, the bottom of the lock stile is chipped. The top of the hinge stile is chipped. Otherwise. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. The door has a full arch top with stained glass at the top and 3 raised panels below. It is made of pine and is painted on both sides. Most of the hardware will need replaced. The stained glass follows the door curve. It has a blue border and a clear distorted background with designs in brown. There are 4 large fascet cut jewels. It measures 32 1/8 inches wide. 95.5 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The glass has been completely restored. Please see the pictures carefully.
