APPLICATION RATES FOR WATER TANKS AND FOUNTAINS: Add Copper Sulfate at the rate of 1/8 teaspoon per 100 gallons of water to kill existing algae. It should then be mechanically removed. Cover or shade the tanks to help slow algae growth. Root Control: Step 1 M easure out about one-half cup of medium sized Copper Sulfate crystals. Pour the crystals into the commode or toilet stool. Flush the toilet. Step 2 Repeat this procedure 2 or 3 more times. Flush the toilet several more times to make sure the crystals are carried outside of your home and into the sewer line. Step 3 Observe the flow of your toilet for the next several days. Copper Sulfate does not work overnight. It requires several days to several weeks to kill the roots and it may take even longer for the dead roots to decay and break away. Vintage COSCO USA Retro Blue Mid Century Modern Step Stool Chair SWEET!
Up for bidding is this nice Cosco kitchen step stool in wonderful vintage condition. This was quality Made in USA in the 1950s or 60s and features rare blue vinyl and paint. Feet caps are in super nice condition. Vinyl on seat is in pretty good shape for age showing a few paint specks and one very small nick. Seat lifts up easily when using step below it. Measures about 32" tall x 17" wide x 16" deep and about 24" from floor to top of seat. The chair is strong and sturdy and a great addition to your mid-century modern collection!

Cosco Kitchen Stool Stool found this weekend at local Grosse Pointe Estate Sale. It is as found. I have wiped it cleaner with soap and water. It could easily be restored or just painted. I like it As Is! Character from that era, even the COSCO sticker on the bottom side lets me know that it is OLD. The sticker still calls this item a COSCO Product! I believe it to be from the 40's. At least that is what the estate seller told me, hope he was being truthful. The stool is solid metal all around. However. It does show paint loss on the seat and some on the legs. But all of that lets you know this stool has a story! It is still quite sturdy. The seat is 24" above the floor and measures 13 x 11 inches. The 14 x 7 inch back rises 35 inches at its highest. The COSCO stamp is still on the rubber step pads. There are some paint drippings ... moreon the step pads. I believe it is removeable. I will break down as much as possible, probably down to the seat for easy shipping.This stool would fit into any modern, industrial, steampunk or cottage decor! Retro Vintage 1950s Mid-Century Mad Men Cosco Yellow Kitchen Step Stool Chair
Up for auction is a vintage Mid Century Yellow Cosco step stool chair. Good condition. The chair steps pulls out smoothly as it should and back into place. The Chrome legs show some corrosion. They need to be cleaned with some steel wool if desired. Yellow vinyl seat and back have one small tear and need an extensive cleaning. Also 4 black caps on bottom of legs to keep from scratching floors or sliding. The black rubber for steps is in very nice condition, although one rubber piece is missing. Underside of chair is in good condition. The metal part the seat cushion is attached to has some surface rust along the bottom edge. This chair has been stored in a storage shed. This is a fun. Fab, throwback piece from a time gone all too soon. Just like at Grandma's, I heard someone say when they saw it. It is is good vintage condition for its age. The vinyl is not perfect, no major holes or tears.there is one"slice" mark near the top back part of the seat about 1" long. The metal is aged.has some minor surface rust, but no dents, dings or holes, so definitely restorable. There are some mismatched screws as some of the original ones on the stool part look to have been replaced over time. This may matter to some. I have been using it as it is for over a year. It is not only a handsome piece. But very practical. I think it has been used or displayed in every room of my home over the years. I would imagine this dates to the early 1900's. Measurements are 14" long(top) x 10" wide x 10 1/4" tall. With a thick 1" board on top. It is solid oak- partially quartersawn- and has a wonderful patina with beautiful grain. It appears to be handmade and very nicely crafted, with even some nails that look squared. There are small felt pads on the bottom of each foot which I added so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. ... moreThese can be easily removed. The condition of this piece is Excellent. It is sturdy and solid as a rock. The vinyl is a gray/silver abstract pattern. This piece has a vinyl seat and vinyl seat back(both with no rips or tears) I've uploaded 12 pictures to show item condition. This charming Antique Victorian Wooden Milking Stool dates to around 1900 or thereabouts. It stands approximately 6 inches high and the top measures approximately 10x3.75x1 inches. The Stool is in lovely vintage condition. With some signs of wear commensurate with age and use. This includes expected imperfections such as dents. Scuffs, minor cracks and chips etc, but all of these add to its rustic charm and are not unsightly in my opinion. The Stool weighs approximately 442 grams. RY. on the front and has the original Morton Mfg tag on the reverse. It is complete with all four original rubber feet and has no bends in the legs and was not abused.
